Music Forum / MIDI to USB?

Hi, I have a keyboard and I would like to move some of the songs that I have from the keyboard to my computer. As of now I have MIDI to USB cable, but I can't figure out how to get the songs on my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone know of somewhere I can find some better MIDI drum kits. The ones have now are not loud enough, and they sound weak no matter how much I tweak them..

I'm pretty sure you'll need software to upload them on your computer when you can't save songs on your computer.
I don't really know what software you can use for that but google is your friend!

Well I have a music editing software called Mixcraft, would that work?

as I said I don't really know much about these things, that would be my best bet.
