Custom Scenery Exchange / New 2x1 Curved Paths

Don't be sorry Xtreme, i love it what you did, so inspiring to see you made this, so props for that. :).

I'm going to experiment with that block soon, because i want it to be glitch free.
Also cool to see that we are sharing same thoughts about applying it to the ground, with the use of ground texture, so it would be a 2x2 block with a curved shape path block filled up with land texture to make it a full 2x2 block, lot's of work, but definitely cool if it can be pulled of.

Keep it up man, you're inspiring me. :)

Could an "below ground" version work with quarter tile land blocks filling in the empty space, or would that glitch too?

You can't edit an object 'below ground'.
It would simply disappear in game.
It would be a tile on top or a block/tile underneath.

After toying with these in-game, my only suggestion is to please add gee's road lines on the edges.

They glitched when I tried to add them, so I think one more version of them (with gee's road lines) is a must.

Please make a version that has benches on it as well. And more versions with bins, lamps, en variations on those three. All in all this should result in only a few hundred objects, but vastly different from results achieved by combining existing scenery.

You go ahead and make those for yourself then. My suggestion is actually useful and would improve what he made.

I was recycling Xtreme97's words. I meant a version with the path at the top of the clearance rather than the bottom

The new objects are now available below. I've made curved path with road lines, raised curved path, curved path on a grass block and curved deco pieces. The ones with curved road lines still has a small glitch but it's still much better than without.
Each has only been made with one texture so far but more will come soon. A lot of progress should be made on this in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. I'll also make a start on ones with benches, bins etc. but they won't be able to function like normal ones.

A download is below and the first post will been updated with one too:
Attached File  Curved Paths 2.zip (63.5KB)

Great work! They will be VERY useful in DR3 :)

I am pretty sure Liam was joking about benches and stuff. Invisible path can pretty much take care of that.

Got a bit of an odd dilemma....A while back I downloaded Curved Paths 1.  Realizing I didn't need them, I deleted them from my ObjData Folder. Oddly, they are still listed in the scenario editor under Large Scenery. Did I not do something right? There are no longer dats that begin with X97 in ObjData folder, yet they are still in the game...Thanks for any assistance/info you can provide

I guess they have different dat names or you indeed didn't delete them correctly. I don't know. But why would you delete them anyway?

Add another new objdate and let the game "detect" objdate when you enter the game.

Liampie, I just didn't need them I guess.   I guess I'm stuck with them.  Oh well
