Yes.
Apparently i can't seem to browse through my small scenery anymore. I have no idea why.
Anyone know what's going on and how i can fix it? -

Open your Objdata folder, sort all the files by date modified. Select a few thousand of the most recent files and move (cut+paste or drag) them to a seperate folder somewhere. Mine is in My Documents somewhere, and I created a shortcut in the objdata folder so I can move objects with a single mouse movement. You don't want to permanently delete your objects, they might, no, will come in handy again.

That's probably better advice.
I have a separate installation on a VM running XP, which I use for hacks if they don't work on win7, and scenario editing, because I have much fewer objects on that installation. -

Too many objects. Delete some or uninstall the expansions.
how do I uninstall expansions? -

No. Click on the button in the bottom right hand corner on the left side of the screen. When prompted to enter your credit card number, enter your password (this will not work if your computer is not password protected and you will need to set one up). Click "Yes". Agree to the EULA. This last step is very important. Launch yourself out of a cannon with your hair on fire, buck naked, signing the national anthem of your country. Upon impact the expansions will be uninstalled.
In all seriousness you should be able to uninstall the expansions just as you would any other program.

But wouldn't this delete all my saves and custom objects?Right-click on the game icon and press uninstall?

I'm having the same issue as -Piggynator- : too many small scenery objects to scroll through. I tried Liam's method, (dragged 500 most recent items from the ObjData into a separate file) but this caused the game to crash upon loading. I'm pretty sure those objects were rides anyway, and not scenery. I have no idea where the individual scenery items are stored...
Does anybody have any suggestions on this please?

Custom scenery and custom rides are all stored in the same place. I think you can tell the difference through the file size

Are you sure those were the most recent files Choc? I think the game crashes when one of the default scenery objects is missing. -

Yeah, that's how I'd sorted them in the folder viewer. Either way, I put them all back and the game works again I'll look into what you said, csw, and list them by size too. Cheers for the help guys.
