General Chat / Fiesta's

Are these still a thing here on the new site? I remember them being at lot of fun. I don't know how it would work with the new layout. Just curiosity 

there wasn't one planned for after the awards, and there's not really that much of a point to it when the website is focussed so much on screens anyways.

Fiesta Functionality doesn't seem to be built in to the newest NE framework.

Everyday is now a fiesta with our new front page!

kind of, yes, but there's no community-wide "Show off all your secret projects" day.  No "I-made-this-but-never-showed-screens" day, no "I made this in five hours just for this event" day.  No "#boats" day!  

... although I suppose we could designate one?  Pick a day to be Fiesta Day.  NE Birthday every ...October?  Or was it September.  New member profiles don't show dates anymore.

It's my birthday on Friday, I think that's a pretty important day for all members, how about we do that day? As a present for the 'Best Forum Member' ;P
