Ask the Experts / Fix broken down rides

I have a ride that's broken down, and mechanics are unable to path to the exit to fix it. I cannot move the exit because I can not enter construction, because the ride is broken down. Is there any other way to fix this? Is there a trainer that is capable of fixing broken down rides? 

The only other option I can see would be cloning the exit to another tile, and hoping a mechanic could path to that one. Hopefully there's something more reliable and easier.

I think he wants to do this without deleting the ride, it's probably some super-duper hacked invisible ride that would take a while to re-do. 

I tried using the "fix rides" button in SGM, but that actually broke everything else down. So then I tried copying the hex for the ride from an earlier non-broken down version in the SGM. This didn't repair the ride, which surprised me, but it allowed a mechanic to get to and repair the ride, which surprised me even more.

anyways, it's fixed now. SGM saved the day.
