Everytime I try to open LL on my windows 10 computer this happens. I'ver tried with a bunch of compatibility and administrator options but no results. Any idea?

Try to run in reduced color mode if you haven't yet.

What version of the game do you have, disk, Steam, GoodoldGames? 

I have and same thing. It's on a disk.

First I would make sure you have all the most recent windows updates installed.  Personally I've had almost zero problems with compatibility with windows 10, where 8.1 was much different story.

Worst case scenario I would buy LL from "Good Old Games.com" or GOG.com, they have applied patches to allow the game to run on newer OS.  Its also free of and DRM unlike Steam versions of the game. 

Applying the Drexler patch to the GoG version is bit more difficult however, but there are some topics about that here and probably accessible with a simple google search elsewhere.

Reinstall, if it doesn't work then you need to get someone to give you a clean LL Data Folder.

Found a fix, the compatability had to be set to windows 98. Thanks for all your help though.

I'm running GoG now even though I've got a disk.
