This place was a goldmine before the database was added, although unfortunately only a small fraction of the parks have been released onto the database. Most of the users on there are inactive, so they aren't going to be submitted any time soon. With that being said, is there any chance of that being changed?

I'd say the chances are slim to none. Some people hoarded lots of old saves and unofficial releases but all the people I know who did that have long since gone inactive. I had a decent collection myself but it was far from complete and I'm not even sure if it's backed up anywhere. I remember when I first joined an rct database service (Panoramical's?) went offline and killed all the old release links. I'm sure all the rest have long since died as well.

 

It's a nice trip down memory lane though. There are things that I released almost a decade ago that I'd love to see again but I'm sure are lost. Not to mention the tons and tons of other releases.

 

The Ad is probably a better place to go for a nostalgia trip. The old Dump place topic alone still has quite a few screens up, I just checked. And I had completely forgotten about things like my old "Top 5 Screens of the Ad".

 

I always forget those old forums are accessible. You can even search through them.

Feel free to submit any of those parks if you still have them, and link to the original topic in the description. We cannot link releases to existing topics currently, but that might change in the future.

After many years, I might be able to recover my old hard drive with a Windows XP, that has parks that are 8 years old from the forums, that, if I still have them, I'll upload them.

Will do, many of the download links I believe are still available. There was some great stuff in there that I might as well submit, I'll just add a 1% share and you guys can remove it.

Cool. If you ever stumble on OLE's unfinished or Mutation Labs or Lost Isles it'd be cool to see those. I'll check to see if I have any old saves stored somewhere. I had some old gems that could see the light of day with the new database.

 

It's funny to look back and see just how many phases NE has been through.

Are non-accolade winners/unofficial releases pre-NE3 what we are missing?  I'm guessing that since the database was added in NE4 we have just about everything released sense that point?

 

Would be cool to see some of these old maps uncovered, as most of the screens in the Ad District are gone now the only artifacts left of these parks are probably in the form of obscure save games on older members hard drives.

Yeah G Force, i think we have everything past that point but many things pre-NE3 and maybe even a few maps around that point are just gone.

 

Well, I've added a few links to some maps that have yet to be added.

 

Some of the downloads are still accessible and just were never added; I'll probably just submit them soon. I know I have a few others but I can't access them. As for many of rest, they're probably lost to time.

All the missing parks will be from before Gee/Po took over and made the database. So non accolade parks Pre-NE4.

Some non accolade parks Pre-NE4 are in the database, but loads aren't.

I used to have masses and masses of files but I've moved computers several times since then and have lost them all.

Also, a little off-topic but I remember back when there was parkmaker pages, someone, I believe it was Phatage, had this giant dam park on their page; I think it required WW and I couldn't find it at all in the database. Does anyone have it or any of the other parkmaker pages parks?
