However im in need of some assistance,i started this park with no objects,i wonderd if someone could tell me the object file names of the custom beemer supports (and anything else that might be usful).I think they're by toon,so i can attempt to import em with parkdat

    It's ToonTowner Supports.

And I think that place really needs some sprucin' up.

Ah, honestly why not just save the track design and start on a fully equipped workbench like from a PT or something? :<img src=:' />

I like what you have going now, but it does seem pretty unfinished. However, I think it will turn out great coz well, your you

Oh and I put you back as an active parkmaker :)

but honestly I think you should just download GW's "official NE bench", cause it contains the individual object files themselves. That includes Toons' Supports and almost anything else you would need. You could pick thru it with DAT Preview and only add what you want or you could just add them all using ja227's ParkDAT utility.

not going to lie, the screens disgust me, but you have valid excuses so i can see what's going on there.
but hey. i like you, rrp. you're a swell guy, so i'm sure this will be exciting.
  • RRP%s's Photo
cheers guys, gonna just save the track files and start from scratch with that bench
  • nin%s's Photo
    woot.
  • Turtle%s's Photo
    That woodie looks awesome.
  • Corkscrew%s's Photo
    ^I second that.
Nice to see someone try a lifthill split up in two segments like Knoebels' Twister has.
It's definitely an interesting, rather unique approach to a figure-8 layout.

Good to see you're back in action.
Your custom rides have been a great inspiration for me back in the days.

    it's delicious.
i look at it and i instantly get memories from old ne days ... damn.
    i'm hoping.

Cheers guys,im gonna try and keep it to my style as much as possible rather than the more modern style of parkmaking that ive seen.On another note does anyone know how to build a vertical lift,i never actually managed it myself.
  • CedarPoint6%s's Photo
Vertical lift as in like the Thrill Lift concept or just like vertical track made into a lift? With the vertical track, there's a new version of 8 cars trainer that lets you do any coaster track element into a lift.
    You can get that here:
    http://www.rctrevalu...?showtopic=7366

The thrill lift concept with a coaster rising like an elevator has only been done once (released, that is) by Levis in his PT3 qualifier entry, I believe. Not sure which one that is, although I'm sure someone will be able to link you.

    cheers
  • Milo%s's Photo
it's has such a nice relaxed feel to it which you don't see often these days

nice job and welcome back :)!
  • RRP%s's Photo
hmm i cant seem to find any option for adding lifts to any track, the only one ive found is toggle chain and that just seems to add a chain to all the pieces it could normally be added to
  • CedarPoint6%s's Photo
Paint the pieces you want to be a chain as one of the alternate color schemes. Then select that scheme in 8 cars, check the toggle chain button, and then apply. It should make whatever pieces you have painted that color into a lift.
  • RRP%s's Photo
    nevermind got it to work,cheers
  • Levis%s's Photo
btw, use this version of the 8cars only for the new functions (troggle chain and make invisible) because for example the raise/lower function is bugged, so I would sugest using 1.302 for the other functions.

btw the thrill lift is done in Lord Straken: Tael Riverine my PT3 B&M qualifier.
