Description
My first true NCSO work? Built this for a challenge at RC&F. Semi-rec of a section of Thorpe Park, we were limited to a set amount of rides and therefore I could only chose a certain section and also take creative liberties (like the train line etc). I even had to modify the entry to remove the partially built Tidal Wave as it was being counted as a ride and therefore was going to DQ me. I believe I got 2nd in this contest.

Very lovely cut-out of the park including the two best coasters of it. Tha windstorm ride is done so good!
Not bad for a first crack at NCSO (is that true? I don't know) and fairly recognizable from what I know of Thorpe. These contest parks are frustrating for me to vote on because I always feel they could go up a notch or 12 if they weren't forced to be cropped so strangely (or were just more complete). Not your fault by any means.
Windstorm is great, one of the highlights for me. Good use of track pieces where necessary. The supporting on Stealth is pretty appealing too (why is it called Stealth? It's race themed.) Nice job on all the rides, really. I think this would be strong in a full park context. It's a very solid snapshot of a park, and I wish there was more to it..
I like this a lot! Very unpretentious and a good balance between necessary trackitecture and object use. I'm not that familiar with the source material, but I'm liking what's there! I'm less a fan of the foliage though, I think you could've used more underbrush. You got some bare patches here and there I'm not that big a fan of.
not bad! very pleasant and standard ncso, and as far as I know, a decent enough recreation. the map is cut a bit funny IMO but its fine.
why did b&m make such a boring layout for nemesis 2? did they forget what made the first one so good?
Wonderful little slice of park. Feels very lively and atmospheric, with great details like the Stealth tire. I get a great classic vibe from this as well, it's uncomplicated without being plain or boring.
