With the similarities that exist between RCT parkmaking and model railroading, it is strange that the two have not melded together more often. You've done very well here to create a lively scene that takes the lively, familiar atmosphere of RCT2 and combines it with the classic charm of a model railroad. The details in the middle, such as the trains on the shelves and the parts in boxes, really help sell the theme. There's still a bit of heavy-handedness with wooden post fences and steel lattice walls, but your architectural cohesion improves with every release. The Fairground Station is a lovely integration of colorable WW objects that would otherwise be difficult to blend, and I never grow tired of seeing crops nicely lined up in rows.

Since your concept is the four seasons, summer could have used a bit more definition to differentiate it from those around it. Spring was clearly spring with its green trees and colorful flowers, and fall had a harvest festival complete with orange foliage, but summer just feels like a default setting without defining seasonal characteristics. Perhaps a pond with some pedal boats or a little slide would give the impression that it's warm outside and people are out doing summery things.

Overall, a clever way to theme an entire map around a transport ride! Always a pleasure to see your creativity in action.

What a fun little idea. Shame this does not have any more comments.

As a railway modeller myself, I had to smile at this. Love the details as the point switches, the boxes, the glue. The theme as well, a 4 seasons model railway is something I've been playing with for a long time in real life too....

Archy is a little simple and like Terry says relies a liiiittle too much on wooden post fences. But the fairground station is a very nice use of WW/TT objects that I applaud.

All in all a cute release.

Really neat idea Lurker, well done. I agree with Terry - this is something I'm surprised we haven't seen more of in RCT. Great to see Jappy comment above as our resident Railway Enthusiast.

I think if you were to refine/expand upon this idea for a new map, perhaps more detailed and realistic architecture. The infrastructure is there, just want to see more world building next time around.
