Has anyone ever won TWO NE Designs at the same time? I don't think so, which means Splash-O has made history by becoming the first person to ever do so. You all remember Splash-O, right? He's that guy who came out of nowhere and made some really nifty stuff in H2H3, evening teaming with x-sector to make that incredible The Faraway Tree? Well he's back. With a vengeance. So check out his design.

(Apologies if he's been "back" for a while and I simply didn't notice. Being busy makes you out of it sometimes.)

Congrats Splash-O, I've always thought you were one of the most underated parkmakers on this site.
The coasters look excellent, going to take a look at them now...

The second one really makes me wish I still had RCT2...

Nice job Splash-O! Both wins are well deserved... the beasts had a few too many helixes, but that's to be expected when trying to pull off quad duellers. Well done!

I think I prefer over the top layout wise, it's a beauty.

looks huge from the screens already.
i'll actually dust off my rct2 cd for this.

edit; okay, i've seen it. good stuff splash. the duellers were fun to watch :) don't like how your style is so dependent on rocks though.

also like this because it tells you those admins haven't completely forgotten how to deal submissions.

Nice work Splash-O and like Todd stated above, I prefer "Over the Top". The initial drop for me was a bit strange as I would liked to have seen just a single drop. Personally preferance though.

As for the quad duelers, I was a bit disapointed with the finish in that all four coasters did not have a closer finish. I know how difficult that can be having built one myself (Nascar Experience) however I feel you had enough room to make that happen. If the finish had been closer, this would be one of my favorite duelers.

    Nice work overall though!

Over the top was pretty good. I loved the double down, but I think it was a bit reliant on turns. In my experience wooden coasters that are so reliable on just turns and valleys arn't a very fun experience. I would have loved to see more airtime hills, but it is a very nice coaster overall.

The Beasts didn't quite appeal to me very much, but it is very good to see that stuff like this is still done as it shows there is still a part of you that builds what you want in the game to have fun with it.

What's everyone's problem!? Over the Top was eh. Alright I suppose.

The Beasts were drool worthy. The atmosphere was WAY stronger and while the layouts were less "perfect" they fit right in with the almost "old rct" look (the green mowed grass, the fact that you can actually see the train station buildings, the little fencing bits around trees for no REAL reason, etc). It was just so unbelievably charming. Maybe I just missed something with Over the Top but I think The Beasts may be one of my all time favorite designs, Over the Top just isn't.

The Beasts was nice and nostalgic, as some have said. I fully appreciate what you were trying to do here, and while I think it could have been done slightly better, I can take it as it is and I really like it. I'm sure it's one of those things that i'll go back and look at.

Over the top was ok, technically better, a stronger layout, but as some have said it lacked the same charm.

I really admire you for continuing to toss out quality work, and everything you make is getting better and better.

I absolutly loved both. I hav'nt been round that long but the Quad dualers were really nice. Pitty i hav'nt seen that many. Anyway great job on the 2 designs you deserve them.

I think I liked The Beasts more for some reason, hard to put my finger on, it just held my interest longer.
    Congrats Splash-O! Posted Image

well, I'm sorry, but The Beasts didn't work together very well at all... even all trains equal. The scenery/atmosphere was okay, but not "WOW" like I had hoped. Over The Top was okay... probably the nicer of the two design-wise, but it reminded me a bit of Big Bear by egghead. The architecture was good but minimalistic.

Well congrats, Splash-O, on the record.

Congrats, Splash-O. They look great from the screenshots and it sounds like they don't disappoint when you open the park. Hopefully I'll have some time tonight to download them and take a good look at them.

    Nice designs there Splash!
I like the atmosphere in both designs with some nice landscaping (which I'm a big fan of), although I have my doubts with the Beasts' pacing... I think it's a bit over the top sometimes... But all in all 2 nice designs!
