    Marlin Gardens Thrill Park Logo

It's always nice to see new parkmakers appear at New Element, work hard, post a few good screens, and win an Accolade. Marlin, with only a handful of forum posts to his name, and a good deal of Oklahoma related signature/avatar sports paraphernalia, nabs a Bronze win with his park Marlin Gardens. Read On...

    Well done Marlin!
You have done some really good coaster-work in this submission. This park is just so lively and cheerful. It reminds me of a huge country fair, with the simple-but-warm architecture and all the stands. It might be not the most detailed or the most advanced park on here, but it sure is a fun place to visit.

This was a really enjoyable park. I'm surprised that it didn't get a silver, it has an excellent atmosphere abd a warm feeling, and it also had pretty good layouts, though there was nothing mind blowing. If there is anything I don't like about the park, it would be that none of the rides have unique names, such as: Splash Mountain, Turbulence, Fear Fall, Predator, Millenium Fear (Force), ect.

wasn't my favorite by far. i don't get why Kumba gave this 16...

Nothing special but it was fun too look through all the coasters, well done on the bronze.

I felt bronze was just right for this. The focus really was on coasters, which of course not is a bad thing, but for me interest was lost after viewing the coasters (which were very good for the most part) run their circuits once or twice and their ratings. The flatness is also something that detracts from it for me. Furthermore I agree with JaguarKid (oh no!) that the names were a bit generic. All in all, the park deserves the bronze due to the classic RCT feeling, the good layouts and that it's obvious you had fun building it. Congratulations!

Wow! Very cool! My very first submission comes away with a bronze. I couldnt be any more satisfied! Thank you to all those on the panel for liking it just enough.

Howl: I love the county fair comment!

Unfortunately this bench was created over 2 years ago when i didnt know much about architecture. Therefor, there's no toons supports or any protour stuff at my disposal. However, my new large scale project has a new bench and i hopefully have an arsenal of new and improved skill, but thats a different topic...

I do enjoy the architecural aspect of the game, but rollercoasters will always be my detail focus! The landscaping was also not an important factor when first creating this park. This too will change in upcoming works from myself.

Like Geewhzz said, I definitely had fun making this park over the last 2 years... but be on the look-out. A new large scale project with improved archy and landscaping, and a ton of new coasters will be a nice follow up to my first accolade.

It's a good park. Nothing really super special sans a few hacks. Nicely done. Worth the Bronze.

Good to here. I did rank this a little to high, should be 13-14 only I really liked the way it reminded me of older RCT2 parks.

i thought this was a nice park. i remember looking at it and thinking "what, there's yet another coaster?" and thinking the same a few moments later.

    well done marlin!

what's to be expected from you next?
  • SSSammy%s's Photo
sorry marlin, youve reached the coaster limit, your next park is only allowed no coasters.

    hehe

i didnt really enjoy this, i thought it was like alot of the other parks that got bad votes in the accolade forum.
    but you know...

nice job marlin, some of the coasters were great fun to watch. i really liked the mega-lite. the park felt very old-school which is something we're not used to seeing too often anymore. keep up the good work.

I really enjoyed this park. It obviously had a heavy focus on coasters and that suits me perfectly :)

Loved the mega lite and spent a hell of a lot of time just watching each ride. Congratulations on the accolade and its nice to see some different and interesting parks coming through now.

This park was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the layouts and loved the fact that the emphasis is almost completely on the coasters. You've completely inspired me so for that I thank you.

Well done on Bronze, I hope your next park is of a similar idea but higher quality. And again thankyou for inpsiring me :)
