Just a small update on this project. I will finish it eventually. After being involved in H2H and learning as much as I did, I will need to redo much of this park, so I'm giving it a bit more of a break while I work on some other projects.

So a lot of things can change in a week. Started dismantling stuff on this and rebuilding. Getting more motivated now! Also, check out the new logo for the park!

And I changed my mind again. I originally dismantled almost everything and restarted the park, but now decided to keep things and just rebuild as needed per the original plan.

I know no one looks at projects, but another update on progress for anyone who's paying attention. Park itself is probably coming up on 70%. Have one area with major work required (the shipyard), one area with finishing and other minor work (WW2/Normandy), and polishing on all the other areas. Outskirts are started and are at 10-15%, but mostly on hold due to object limit concerns. Supposedly the OpenRCT2 devs will be getting rid of the limit sometime in 2019, but not sure when, so for now I'll proceed with the limit in mind.

Excited to see the progress, and wishing that project threads were as visible as the AD once was.

Update time! It's been a while since I posted an update, but I can now say that the park itself is finished, with the caveat that I will probably go back through and redo some things. Finishing up the surroundings (Packer University and nearby housing) will be my next focus. Following that, it'll be fixing things I'm unhappy with and detailing the entire map. Really hoping for a late-2019 release for the two year anniversary of my first real solo park, Knoebels.

  • Description

This park is based on an alternate history of the development of the now-defunct flagship steel plant of Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In this "universe", the grounds were developed into a steel- and industrial-themed amusement park. The park and surroundings will draw inspiration from the city of Bethlehem, but I would not consider any part of this project a pure recreation. I hope you enjoy watching this project develop!

Special thanks to my irl friend Rob for the logo!
