Classy. Love the gray crazy-tile path, and the orange and yellow flowers are a good color foil for the deep purple on the coaster. The architecture seems a  bit perfunctory and useless though. I'd personally either make it a bit more significant to the theme or bring it in  closer and make it smaller and a bit more unassuming as a small shack or stall or something.

On another note, this looks like one of your best coasters, so you have that going for you.

I don't think the path works for a mining theme.

it's dead. the way you fenced off everything not only shoots down a lot of possibilities for interaction, but hurts the composition as a whole.

architecture is uninspired and is really off when compared to the area around it

Wow, crit seems to have come down hard on this screen, as I really like it. I think this is a great new take on the mining theme, going for the hard, cold steely look rather than the woody look. The flowers and foliage stop this from becoming too dark, which is a nice touch. Love the little detail of targets as buffers, and that's a pretty neat helix too. Cool stuff.

I like this! I get that it is not for everyone, but it brings me back to old times. Liam is going to a nostalgia phase right now, and I'm not complaining.

I think this looks fantastic. Giving off some nostalgia - when was this built? Only thing I'm unsure of is the little tower in the center of the path. I feel like a small plaza like that deserves something slightly more interesting, especially in front of a large attraction.

Rob, I agree, the archicture is not very good. But then again, this is another of my single afternoon contest entries! (I lied; I made this in TWO afternoons) Thanks, I'm glad you like it, especially the coaster of course!

Coupon, what would work for you? I think this works for an industrial theme in a themepark. It's practical and fits well enough.

Shotguns, really? I hope you like it more in game! I wouldn't change anything as far as interaction goes.

Choc, spot on. This is not a midwest mine town, but rather an industrial Dutch state mine. No wooden sheds in a desolate landscape but steel and concrete in an urbanised landscape. I wanted moderate art nouveau architecture to really define the time, but time constraints made me go with a stream of consciousness steampunk-y style. I stole the targets as buffers idea, although I don't know from whom. Probably someone LL.

Steve: thanks a lot dude! When this was built? Mostly last friday. But it's another 2006 Paul ripoff. I agree about the centre ornament. I didn't know what to put there so I went with a park map. Makes sense from a practical point of view but it's not the most elegant solution.
