    Screw the windseeker that's a sweet S&S

You've clearly got the hacking prowess, now it's just a matter of honing your theming skills. I know that this is [probably] just the default scenery in the bench but I for one am not a huge fan of the foliage. I get the idea but there is not nearly enough underbrush or consistency for me.

The supports for the coaster are...interesting but I'm not totally convinced by them. Whilst I get that this is NCSO, I still think that you're using rides as supports just for the sake of it rather than trying to integrate them into a functional and flowing design [the windseeker is a perfect display of how this should be done]. It might just be the weird blue column present in the supports, but I get the feeling it would look better continuing with the supports you used everywhere else on the ride.

I am very interested in how you did the architecture.

^The supports are based on real S&S Thrust Air coasters.

^Oh, then disregard my previous comment. Although maybe consider making the support one higher so it better connects with the coaster track.

EDIT: In response to Austin; yeah I was unfamiliar with the ride type and didn't really 'get' the supports. Apologies for the misunderstanding on my part.

Stoksy, not sure if you've ever seen Hypersonic XLC (now long gone) but the supports are pretty good.

I was actually going to question the radius at the top, but it seems that the radius doesn't seem to bad against the photo posted.

Although I do think the real thing goes steeper much quicker but in RCT you only have the two options, correct radius or correct steepness.

I'm just rambling on now lol

I did'nt even see your first reply. So I bassicly just repeated you. My bad.

I really like this though I don't know if I see the need for the impulse track. It looks pretty good but if it causes any glitching it might be better just to remove it.

Oh, and I hate you for reminding me that Hypersonic existed... what an awful piece of crap. lol

This is pretty good, but the foliage could be improved. Definitely worth more than 30% though...

This looks like the December workbench, in which case the foliage is outside the park bounds on 60% of the map and can't really be changed (it looks like he has removed the park border fence, but using Own All Land would disqualify him). I threw it together in about ten minutes so that there could be a more scenario-like map. I would not criticize Ostrdava for this.

i'm looking to build a ncso windseeker like the one you've got dude, but i'm too much of an 8cars pleb for that shit

the air thrust doesn't do all that much for me, sadly

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

@Austin: Thank you. I'm glad you like it because I feared others would think it's messy.

@Stoksy: No need to apologize for the misunderstanding. I appreciate your comment and I resonate with your concerns on the theming part. I'll still try my best though and ask for CC later. As Ling mentioned, this is from Reddit's December contest and most of the park's available land is restricted to a circular area to promote others to build a design submission. The majority of the trees in the screen are located outside of the park's boundaries and the contest forbids altering anything outside of it. Regardless, I'll be sure to add some bushes underneath the trees that are within the park.

I tried raising the towers by 1 unit in MOM in order to connect them to the track but there's a strange glitch where the towers' top pyramid tips become removed. So an impulse track was lowered into place to fulfill the gap.

Which architecture do you want to know more about? The support towers or the windseeker?

@Louis: Yeah it is not nearly as steep as the real-life one. I had considered using the vertical track's steep to flat piece but then there would be little room for the towers.

@Coasterbill: The track flickering occurs at the merges but that happens at all merge points when a train runs on it. The impulse track is to fulfill the gap between the track and the towers.

lol. was hypersonic a bad ride? Have you been on it? I've been on Dodonpa and I had a pleasant experience.

@tigre: oh well on the score. More reasons to improve I guess

@Valdair: Thanks for organizing the contest. This restriction is a great way to provide a general guide to a design.

@Shotguns: I can build one for you if you'd like
