nice. i really like the coaster, but those colours definitely need to be changed. i also really like that station. the buildings are cool but i feel like they would be even better if you added some texture to the empty walls. foliage is definitely nice too

Colors are perfect. Everything is great except the blue-green cacti, they stick out

Where the fuck did this come from? Looks awesome Liam.

Colour!! Was just looking at the other screens from this yesterday, awesome to see this still going. Other than the one miscoloured umbrella piece it's awesome.

I must admit that the foliage isn't quite doing it for me, but that's just because I can't seem to get into sparse foliage...something about it doesn't ring true with me for some reason. I'm sure it'll grow on me [pun not intended].

The wooden style of the log flume looks great by itself but I'm not entirely sure that it works particularly well as a ride station given how colourful the surroundings are. If your intention was to blend the station in with the surrounding foliage then you've certainly achieved that, but I just think that a ride station should stick out from surrounding buildings whereas you've done it the other way around here. That being said, restaurant looks incredible!

Is the "Pirate Bay" downloadable? :p

Stupid joke, anyway, It looks very good, very good use of the colours and I would like to see more work like this. :)

I find the foliage a bit boring, but not inaccurate. Probably because the rest is so amazing.

Thanks everyone for the praise. I'm glad I have something modern to show again, since it's been quite a while. This was built mostly over the last two days!

@csw: I'm not entirely sure on the cactus colours either, but I think the foliage needed some more contrast and the cacti some more variation. Don't be surprised if they stay, don't be surprised when they get changed.

@Stoksy: thanks for catching the umbrella. Love your unintentional pun.

@Rofl: hopefully you can download this next year.

@Fizzix: what makes the foliage more boring than, say, anything by Robbie, RRP or [insert name]?

That yellow hurts my eyeballs, but its crazy and cool. I love the foliage there, very refreshing. Excited to see this finished!

I think the plantlife is too vibrant for the theme. I'm likely to be guilty of the same mistake with the next screen I post though, so don't take that *too* seriously.

i don't think it's too lifely, from what i've seen this very accurately mimmicks the plantlife found on curaçao

I think the ride is pretty neat, with just few touches like the coaster track, it takes all the attention to it up to now, maybe went is done looks different. The support under the drop top and all way down need one more section up , just put it the same color as the track.

Excellent colour selection on the building, and I like the way the flume station is entirely wooden. No complaints with the foliage, and I think the way it's been tamed around the path areas is to great effect. Brilliant stuff.

I'm not really sold on the wooden coaster track below the flume. Might be the coloring of the rail, but still. Other than that it quite a vibrant screen, a bit of light in the dark days before Christmas xD

  • Coasterbill%s's Photo

I'm just surprised to see Liam use anything under a flume... I love using wood coaster track under flumes as most flumes do have a catwalk around the entire course but now that you mention it I agree that the colors may be a little off. I like the brown but the railings may be a bit overpowering.

I would use wooden track underneath the flume for the lifts and bobsled under the rest of the ride.

I'm not sold on the foliage. It's not bad, but I think for the theme it could be used much more sparingly, especially under the coaster. I'm getting a "dry" setting and even if you are using the correct kinds of trees I feel like they still wouldn't be so abundant. Looks good near the paths though!

    Otherwise, masterful.
