any input on these roman dueling coasters?

Its a bit chaotic, as if a cool roman structure and a dueling coaster were heated to 3000 degrees and these are the molten remains. The architecture needs a clearer structure and purpose. In the screen all i see is stacked blocks. It would also be nice if the coasters had more interactions and bits of parallel track, like the bits in the front of the screen. I like that interaction quite a lot!

Check out 'Islands of Enchantment' in the database, I think you can learn a lot from that park. A must see anyway! :)

Haha nice analogy! Yeah I take your point, it does lack a clearer structure for sure. Though I like to think it is a little more organised than stacked blocks lol But yes I see what you mean with regards to having more purpose definitely. I suppose they could have a few more sections of parallel track as well looking closer.

I have downloaded the park you mentioned, its quite spectacular, very impressive. I think I need to download some more of the workbenches on offer to broaden my horizons.

There's really not all that Mich contrast in color here. I agree with Liampie that the buildings need more purpose too. The coasters are severely lacking supports as well, not to mention why you would put a trim brake immediately after a launched loop. Let gravity do more work for you instead of needing powered launches and brakes throughout a ride.

Yeah again I take your point in terms of the colour, it is definitely lacking in contrast, and as Liampie said the purpose of the structures. Frankly I hadnt even realised the break was there, which as you say is poor. Back to the drawing board on this one thinks.

    Cheers for the tips

Without the brake there, I think the riders would die going through that dive loop at 60+ mph...

I think thats why I put it there, but as said above I think if the coaster had been planned out a bit better it wouldn't be necessary. I was going for looks rather than ratings, although I think they were both high 9's if I recall.

    ^Get some avatars, guys...

Neat coaster design. Reminds me of my old style.

Thanks, everybody else slated it, I didn't think it was that bad!

There were some valid constructive points though in fairness with regards to the scenery and the coaster which I have taken on board for future work.
