I'd change the elevation of the landscape, add some brush and small trees, also change the color of the land.

It's just a coaster on an empty field. Turn the empty field into something not empty. Something that interacts with the coaster. If you want pretty, a hilly jagged landscape is always a good bet.

"too much work"? You haven't put enough in yet.

Do not give up. Add a mesh fence that no one under the 'train' could not walk, a few bushes that match the prairie. Maybe a little slide carousels ...

    (Such coasters need space :))

Yeah, no such thing as too much time. It is a matter of how far you want to take detailing and realism, or just how much time you want to dedicate to the game. I have been working on one coaster layout since November, and only now have I come up with a layout that satisfies me (admittedly I am a very slow builder).

sorry for the grammar (I mean placing the carousel a little further away from the coaster)

I'd recommend trying to find someone that inspires you. For me I've always loved RWEs style and Shotguns. Also use a bench that has all custom scenery. From what you've told me you wanted to do you need custom scenery. Keep at it man you have potential.

Pacifcoaster, Steve, Titan, Kumba, Stosky, GForce, RWE, Shotugns, Corkscrewed, Jkay, Turtle...list goes on so many styles to learn from.

Bush gardens asia, starpointe, hudsons crossings, the way I get all my inspiration.

Glad that you're mentioning me overhere, but i think there are very many players which are much better than me and have much more content to get inspired from.

If you're trying to get inspired from other people it's important that you not only look at rough things, but also look for little details and special building techniques with small objects. As Liam said there is so much empty space on your screen that can be filled by buildings, bushes, lamps, benches, stalls etc.

I would recommend to you to not start with big projects or parks. Use a small project like a design or a small park to try different types of architecture and details out. You'll see that this is not so much work if you're having the inspiration and if you're exactly knowing what you want to build. If you're doing it like this, you'll see that you will almost never lost the motivation like now, because there will always be stuff you want to improve and build better. Don't give up!

Already a mesh mence unless you mean the scenery item "a mesh fence"

Oh yeah, I am kinda confused with foliage, because I don't want to put a million tree's around it, do I have to add like 1k ruins around bushes and stuff.
