The public asked for bigger rides, so this year we opened three new rides. And two of them can be considered big.

The biggest of those is our new log flume Old Silver River Flume. Our designer Wardley got to know this type of ride on a study journey in the USA and was immediately enthusiast about it. Marc Pille made a deal with Arrow and Ross Bob and Wardley designed the whole thing to fit in the park.

The collaboration with Arrow went great, so Marc Pille decided to sign a bigger deal with the American company. A deal that agrees for three major rides from Arrow being placed in the park in five years. The flume is the first one.

The other two new rides are placed on the other side of the lake. On this place we decided to create a pirate zone, because every child likes to play pirate isn't it?! Redbeard is a darkride where you sit in a ship that flies above different pirate scenes. Aaaargh matey!

The other new ride is a swinging ship called The Black Pearl. The helter skelter that stood here moved to the entrance zone near the picknick area.

Next year we gonna it easy and prepare for 1981 when we will celebrate our five year anniversary!
