Wait, are we gonna get two nin releases in the same year?! AAAHH! Save yourselves!

I love how you're able to create so much atmosphere with just foliage and a few basic buildings. I absolutely adore this. I cannot wait to see the finished product.

Im not sure about the big tree in the center of the path; perhaps a bit obtrusive? and i think i would prefer this more if the fences were more cleaned up.

otherwise, yeah, very atmoshperic and these new foliage tricks and ideas, e,g the dead trees, are genius.

The foliage and paths are super nice. I'm not sure about the floating island however. It's difficult to see how it will fit in well with the rest of the park. And I'm also not convinced on the execution - without some kind of contrast underneath/behind it's difficult to tell it's floating.

And yeah the custom trees are dope.

There is stuff floating in this?

  • inthemanual%s's Photo

@alex, I don't think it's actually floating. I think they're just supposed to look that way to guests, while actually being grounded.

Based on the 'avatar' tag, I'm pretty sure what appears to be a mountain is actually the floating mountain. In which case that coaster track to the left of it is its support piece. You can look up construction pics of the floating mountain irl if you don't understand what I'm saying.

Ha, the tree trick was first used in Pridelands but I guess it went unnoticed.

I've had a bit of a mixed response to the area, so I'm going to rethink it a bit before proceeding too far. I don't think it's entirely necessary to the park, but I like the challenge it gives compared to the rest of the park which has been more of a chill build.

This particular island isn't floating, it's stationed to the ground and supports the remaining islands offscreen. I was never intending to include Pandora as I wasn't a fan of the land upon announcement, but after visiting recently I really love that part of the park and want to try my hand at it.

Aiming for a 2017 release with this, only a few months to go.

Rustic feel that appeals to me. Props on that one!
