  No trainer use of any kind was permitted in this contest which actually ended up being more restrictive than I initially imagined.

  if you didn't use trainers then how are those stone walls slanted?

  Raise up land tile by one corner to desired height, place the wall, lower land tile by the lowest corner. The wall will stay in place.
