Have you ever made one?? 1) I made the 3D model which took 30 hours to get right and its still needing work. 2) I have to angle each bitmap image correctly on over 1000 images. 3) the program used to create tracked rides is Not user friendly.

    Translation: totally screenshot worthy.

Lookin good!  I think the detail on the sides could use a little more relief - hard to tell if the diagonal bracing design is there or not.  The engine is under-sized relative to the cars. The roof should be well above the top of the car sides.

Thanks ][ntamin22 I didn’t even notice the back brace faded out. I am working on centering the loco and giving it better size. The only problem I am running into is sprite hight. It can’t be any higher then the original image for the coaster being replaced. Right now I am using the hypercoaster so I can use the length to compensate for hight. If anyone has a way around that it would be helpfull.

I’m not discrediting the work you’ve done. There’s just litterally zero context outside of the train and track.

. My whole point was to get advise from those who have made rides before so I could get advise on how to make it (the train) better. I think people on this site need to be helpful when they critic someone’s stuff. To many times I have seen comment about how something is awful without suggestions on how to fix it. At that point it’s disrespectful. Especially when someone puts a lot of time into something.

No worries.  I think people overlooked that you were just trying to get feedback on the custom train.

We have a few experienced CTR artists around who can give you tips!  I'll see if I can drag a few in here with suggestions on the height limit and detailing.

like I said I didn't say it was awful. I just said this isn't a proper screen. It's fine that you want advice, but there is just a place for these kind of things.

Yeah and that’s here dude. Get over yourself scoop.

Thanks ][ntamin22 that would be super helpful.

He's referring to the forums; namely this https://www.nedesign...enery-exchange/

Scoop could have linked them, but there's absolutely no need to be so hostile.

Your right I could have. Sorry I didn't.

Coastercreater9 thanks for the links. I just get tired of people having to hate on others work. Heck if you don’t like it move on. A screen shot associated with my project is my place to get help from a visual perspective. To often people jump to a screen shot and all they say are things like “ that texture is awful “ and leave it at that. No advice. No offer of something better. Its not constructive and it’s unnessesary. Pardon me for being a little annoyed when I spend so much time on something and someone says “that’s not worth a screen”. if you think that just leave the screen shot no one is forcing you to look at it. But constructive help would be nice. So let’s start there. Is that fair?
  • Scoop%s's Photo

The only thing I would probably say about the train is that the top is too saturated and needs some more texture.

edit the sides where the bright saturated green could use a bit more texture too now that I look at it again.

Cool thanks scoop. Hey does anyone know if there is an easier way to do the rides then the hard interface I am using. It’s the old program amazing earl used. It’s trash and is what is causing me so much annoyance. i have been using buggys ridemaker. not user friendly

I liked the train type, cool, and I like those rails here and there, crossing over one another :)
  • Description

Here is the first prototype of the coaster train. it will all work out. Update. I think I found a base model coaster that will allow for hight, width, and length to work out for the loco.
