Holy moly.  This is like Shogo level archy but actually clean.

Almost something dystopian about it, especially the repeating large planters on the right side.  Wonderful.

Generally such things are really a mess of complicated textures and overwhelming the viewer with detail, but it balances out so nicely and gives me undoubted hope that you'll keep pulling it off with grace on this.

Really, really hope you can keep up the motivation, man.

Now can I play the level :p

Immediately felt like Spain and so I googled it to see if there was a source.  Spot on but perfectly adapted to RCT too with the planters and street textures.  Making me miss Spain... if you're doing a full scale project like this I can't wait to see it.

this is giant! Very, very awesome.  I just really wish that brick texture would be nixed for something else as it looks even worse with the palette added to it.

Saw the thumb with the cool rails and the 90% rating and was ready to write a rant on rating inflation fueled by gimmicks, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the whole screen. No rant today, this is hot shit. Love the crazy baroque architecture. It's missing some life, but it's clearly ready to be lived in.

I usually post long-ish comments. But here I think it suffices to say,

    Wow.

Just stunning. I'd like to see this screens with peeps, and perhaps some traffic, which is the only thing it lacks to really bring it to life. The one thing I see that could be improved - is there anyway for you to define the curbs more? Right now they maybe look just a little too level with the street. It's obviously difficult due to the height increments in RCT, I guess you'd really need to make a custom object like GW's road lines but a few pixels taller, or like those large 2x1 rounded walls (made by AVL I think) but lowered to like half or a third of the height and then paired with deco trim pieces. Oh and you're probably getting there, but I think some more benches and trash cans would definitely not hurt.

Got long in the end anyways :p

    Holy moly this is amazing

Wow, this is so good. In any other screen that street texture would've sucked ass, but in here it fits really well.

The archy is just on fleek. I could watch it for hours.

I really wonder what the diagonals look like too.

    Structurally brilliant.

Texturally, I feel like it suffers the same as PoE did, over textured and a bit messy.

But still, very high quality work and I commend you for doing something like this.

Very very nice. My only nitpick is that the trees look tiny. I think they need to be double the height they are currently, to bring it to the same scale as the rest of the building. But very good work definitely.

Also, the main building reminds me a lot of El Corte Ingles building in Barcelona.

  • RWE%s's Photo

For my personal taste a bit messy, one detail less on every building would be great. But this is fantastic work, dude! I hope i still can build on my spanish park now :p

  • alex%s's Photo

Crazy style! I'm excited to see more.

  • CoasterCreator9%s's Photo

I completely disagree that this looks messy; I think it's super clean and really stunning. I'd be happy if you kept this non-park or otherwise!

  • Tolsimir%s's Photo

Thanks guys for the nice comments. Hopefully in the end there will be traffic added and of course peeps, too, to add some life to it. But for now they have to keep outside as they really don't help me while building.

Scalewise some might argue that it is really huge but I would actually disagree. The tram is too small, yes, but in fact the main building is just one of the really large ones in the city where it's not unseen to have two story high ground floors. I just hope to be consistent in the end.

@ street texture: I'm liking the contrast it gives but I agree that the palette is disturbing a little the texture. Anyone got suggestions for alternatives?

  • ][ntamin22%s's Photo

    Whoa.  It's big, and tiny.
