Description
Grand Tour Finals 2021 with FK
For the adventure ride requirement, I drew inspiration from classic LL adventure rides like Blood Island Adventure (Coaster Ed) and Lion King: The Adventure in Disney Dreams (PyroPenguin). With new advancements in OpenRCT, now is the perfect time to revive these hack and scenery focused rides. My goal was to recast their feeling of adventure in a more realistic setting, with real life elements like a releasing lift hill (and more I won't spoil). Themed to a runaway train, it transports riders between two stations, one at the top and one at the bottom of the steep mountainside opposite the city of Tromso, Norway. The ride's layout was also inspired by the real life Norwegian coaster Speed Monster at TusenFryd. -

I traditionally don't see adventure ride as coasters, but a coaster can be an adventure ride, and I think this is a great example of that. It looks to me like you got the most out of it, without it being over the top - which it would've been if you had five switchback sections, for example. Brilliant design.
This is absolutely one of the most creative and well executed coasters I've ever seen. The technicality and precision is impeccable, as well as being stunning to look at!!

that shade of blue looks familliar, and this ride was amazing. i thought this pinch point was great, then we got the turn table and we got the drop. stunning to look at, fascinating hacks. this is a great blend of fantasy with real elements that rct can't normally do...seriously waiting to see what Brian thinks of this one.
