Description
The Mahoning Gardens Grand Carousel is truly a gem, as it was built by PTC in 1925, its craftsmanship and beauty is truly unmatched today. It has brought joy to all ages for 64 years here at the Gardens.
The Carousel is flanked by two far more modern attractions, but no less popular. Super-Himalaya is a Reverchon classic and was added to the park for the 1963 season. Few rides offer a more thrilling and purely fun experience at the park! Sea Dragon is one of the newest rides here at the Gardens, opening in 1983, its truly a thrillseakers ride! Its high swings and zero gravity experience is among the most dare defying in the park, this ride is not for the faint at heart! -

Best looking realism in a hot minute. The half diagonals in the carousel are seamless.
Those are some excellent flat rides. Love the Sea Dragon. Super Himalaya roof seems maybe a bit high? Probably fine though. Really excited for this.
Actually I was on the fence about the roof personally, maybe I'll see how it looks lowered by a unit. Though I like how much of the actual ride you can see with the height now so maybe its fine haha.

It's probably just a personal preference but something about the roof shape feels off on the carousel. To have super shallow roof, then shallow roof, then steep roof then to have the top go back to shallow, I don't know. I don't think it's messy but I can't help but think it would look cleaner with less angles, somehow. edit: could also be cause it uses multiple textures, but I can understand there not being much way around that.
Spotlight quality, easily. Love the carousel, the roof might look more natural if it was all one texture rather than both corrugated and spanish tile. But yea, this rocks

Getting pretty close to finishing the park proper, so maybe expect one more update with actual park content before I move to the surroundings.
