Longshot rumors
Six Flags over Texas, Over Georgia, St. Louis, La Ronde, and America have all gone about half a decade or more without a new coaster, so all have some discussion but nothing serious. Morey's Piers:Rumors of a GCI for years.

RMC is starting to wear thin for me. It was cool when they first started putting out new rides, but why should a slightly twisted air time hill and over-banked turn be a highlight? Because it's kinda wooden? Maybe I need to get on Wicked Cyclone to see what I'm missing.
Glad to see Lake Compounce getting new stuff, haven't been there in ages.
Mako looks fantastic in the concept rendering. Hats off to Sea World for bringing out world-class rides ever since news broke out that they couldn't deliver world-class wildlife show performances.

Austin, I had no idea about Monster. That layout looks beautiful.
Steve, I've only been on Wicked Cyclone but it was phenomenal so I get the hype. Personally, this layout is my least favorite of all the RMCs so far, but I'm in the minority with that opinion.

Mako is the only one that looks normal. What happened to roller coasters!?
I agree, all these silly spinny things and loop lifts and stuff. Why cant we get some nice drops and good airtime like the old days.

Im still excited by rmcs, although moreso by their renovations than customs. They dont have a whole lot of layout creativity it seems, but i still think theyre supposed to be fun rides. Maybe a tad short. But rides like medusa or new rattler look so exciting to me -

I've never liked these weird wooden roller coaster which seem to be designed by an eight year old. I hope some new roller coasters will come out that don't look like my first RCT creations when I was seven and figured out the infinite money hack.
Mako and Cobra's Curse look pretty cool though. Nice colours. -

We should get a few more normal ones announced soon. Cedar Point is almost definitely getting a dive coaster and there are strong rumors of a Canada's Wonderland wing coaster in the next year or two. Cedar Fair is still in bed with B&M.

There is an interestin trend lately that Intamin's don't seem to be showing up over here much anymore. Cedar Fair's definitely in love with B&M and SF is going for RMC. The last US built Intamin was Skyrush.

Intamin, like Gravity Group and GCI have realized that there is much more money to be made in the east. There are tons of new coasters built every year over there, sometimes multiple in the same year.

It's literally a board with some seats nailed to it. Hopefully they use something slightly more... aerodynamic?
