    Hey guys,

it is true, I am working on something again. That something is a video series. As I don't feel it'd be right to clog the front page with youtube screenshots, I'm sharing the videos here.

I hope you will enjoy these videos and any future episodes and I'd love it if you could help me get some buzz going on yt and reddit where I will also be sharing this.

I'd love to attract some new members to NE this way. But let the videos speak for themselves!

Thanks for checking them out. :)

hah, cool shit. I remember you talking about this. I'd love to see more of this new park!

I wish the resolution was slightly higher though, I think I'm used to seeing rct with a bit more on the screen at a time these days.

    Wow.

This needs praise before it even gets going.

Major Riverland vibes and that is a favourite.

Huge fan of timeline parks and cannot wait to see where this goes dude. Looking forward to the entertain while the world ends outside.

Looking forward to checking these out. You're developing a very unique style with these new textures (e.g. the dirt roads). Good stuff.

Nice idea, man. I think your foliage is pretty awesome too, here. Good luck getting this thing going.

Thanks for all the comments guys!!

@Cocoa: Yes, this is exactly what I was talking about in that bar in Cologne, haha. Sadly my screen isn't bigger than that though.

@Airtime: I appreciate it a lot. Glad you're back on the site. :)

@alex: I think you spotted that well, the ground textures are certainly one of the more detailed aspects of the map so far.

@JJayMForce: Thanks, there's lots of foliage still to come!

    Awesome stuff.

I was expecting these to be longer though. I know there’s a discussion in the Discord and it’s not an issue that this was short at all, it works great. What sort of time are you aiming for?

Also what sort of year are you thinking of setting this to begin with? Based on the rides it obviously before rides really developed or it would just be as cheap for the family to hire in a small kids ride or two as it is to be build it.

One thing I didn’t think about previously is, if the family owns the farm, why don’t they have that more on show. As in, access to at least view some animal pens or something. That’s something quite common in farm parks in the UK which this seems to start out as? I know it’s heading to a theme park but to be true to the story of the family is trying to monopolise on what they have, seems a logical step?

Look forward to the next one, don’t keep me waiting! :p

Thanks Airtime! There'll definitely be longer ones coming, including some timelapses as well.

The first episode has a small and easily missed time stamp that says "late 60s". That's where we're starting, and the story is definitely not going to rush things for now. The farm feedback is brilliant and is actually something I had been planning on playing around with ever since my ex gave me "do a petting zoo" as feedback last summer, when I shared the park idea haha. I think there's definitely some more farm stuff coming atm. Your feedback and analysis really hit the nail on the head.

I'll try to be quick with updates, currently it sadly still takes me ages to produce the videos though.

It feels so real dude. All the little country road details are making it for me atm. Also your ground texture work is great.
