    you could just google a voxel sphere and copy it.
    That would work if actual cubes were realistic in RCT. Sadly two stacked quarter blocks are slightly taller than they're wide. If you do a sphere like that, it'll be an ellipsoid.

    You mean they're slightly wider than they are tall. To be specific, the height of the block is 81.6% of the width (or 2/sqrt(6)).This means that if you raise a full tile object up 4 units, it will line up exactly with the grid tile behind it. It also means that one clearance unit is an integer number of pixels, so it makes the math easier.


    This doesn't mean you can't make a voxel sphere, you just have to account for the fact that your voxels aren't cubes when you design it. You'll need more blocks in the vertical direction than in the horizontal.

    I'm sorry, you're right. My mental image is off because I was picturing a stack of blocks trying to fix the widt/height ratio.

    Back when I did bigger builds in Minecraft, I was big on spheres and round shapes. This was pretty useful for that.

    I wish I had something like that when I made Geon. I may have chose to make a voxel sphere instead of a less geometrically complex surface smoothed with slanted blocks.
