The other day I was talking to a resident of Wisconsin who was having a happy birthday, but was fighting a bad infestation at outpost 23 that was surely not a zodiac thrill, when something entered the basics of my brain... What ever happed to the Escher park cBass was making? Well know we have our answer as cBass emerges from the darkness to release it with Escher Island!

    Please post your feedback below.

If there ever was a true CC, this is it! If there is one piece of RCT2 you must download, this is it!

This masterpiece will mess with you mind in more ways than one. With each turn in the view, it seems like you are looking at something completely different. The waterfalls is perhaps the best trick on the eyes and one that only the fish can do.

I can't even imagine the headache you had when building this.

Well done, congrats and welcome back!

I have to agree with RCTNW on all accounts. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, and I like how you used the textures and colors to really give the feel of Escher's work. Using the flowers for the waterfalls was a good choice, because the gaps weren't immediately apparent. I really love the perspective trick with the ape named cBass that appears in the different pavilions. This concept creation shows that you can do some awesome and physically impossible things in RCT if you're creative and determined.

This shit is bad... I saw it, probably two years ago now. Before the pro tour 2 anyway and while my mind wasn't blown I still can't figure out exactly how he did half of the visual illusions in here.

Oh and is he actually prowling about still? I imagine he could take on the sort of ultra-creative recluse legend who releases the best stuff anyone's ever seen out of no where (aka I miss Mala).

I can reply with a bit more tomorrow (it's late and I'm old ;-) ), but I'll just mention a couple things first...

This park was completed over 4 years ago. Only the entrance is new.
The bench was created by MamaBear as a group park for the old RCTM club, but it was never completed.
Magnus and Levis helped me straighten out some problems I had with stuck peeps and land rights. Thanks again.

altough I saw it already it still is a brilliant piece of work!

if I find some time I will try to comment some more.
and I really hope we will see somethings more from you if you've got some time again :) .

Some really excellent work here. I can tell I'll be spending a lot more time in there unpacking everything to try and comprehend it. I'm impressed by the shear amount of planning this must have taken to get it right. Once you finally do, RCT is perfect for this and it's cool to see somebody screw with our depth perception here. All of the stuff was really interesting and I'm still finding stuff as I go along. I like the subtle one in the beginning with the waterfalls on the side of the rapids touch. I think one of my favorites was probably the entertainer trick and getting it to appear in each of the 4 little platforms depending on which way you're turned. Also-- the coaster was incredibly in the way you got the layouts exactly the same... very well done. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed looking through this one and really hope to see something else eventually.

I think this thing has been passed around underground more than anything else .

Saw this about a year ago and it's one of my favorite rct creations ever... one of the few rct2 files I'll keep on my computer. Wonderful job.

Thanks guys. This has always been my favorite thing I've done in RCT.

Kumba, thanks for putting this out. It's a bit overdue. 8-)

I can't even imagine the headache you had when building this.

I take medication for that, actually. :SA:

I like how you used the textures and colors to really give the feel of Escher's work.

Thanks! A lot of that I owe to MamaBear for putting together what was really an amazingly versatile bench for its time.

I still can't figure out exactly how he did half of the visual illusions in here.

    Here's a hint.

the coaster was incredible in the way you got the layouts exactly the same... very well done.

Thanks. It's kind of a short ride. I made this before I really studied coasters a lot, but it turned out alright.

I think this thing has been passed around underground more than anything else .

    Well no one told me!

a quirky little park.. great CC.
loved the illusions, just wished there were more of them. :p
coaster was nifty, but i couldn't figure out what was supposed to be illusive about the three spheres.. were they just a tribute thing?

Haha I figured out the waterfall and the ascending/descending stairs thing all on my own.

    I feel proud.

You know my thoughts, Jon. One of the best pieces or RCT ever.
It almost seems like the category was solely created for you and this park.

This one is four years old, lost nothing of its magic and still looks modern. The waterfall itself would have made this one of my favorite pieces of rct, but you created even more escher magic here. The park fits eschers style perfectly and the pictures you included work great.

    Thanks you finally released this.

Nice how you can bring the Escher feeling to RCT, never guessed anything like this would be possible...!

You know when people start dissecting your work in game that you've done something amazing. Incredible!

Still a truly amazing piece of work!! (had seen it in-game long before on one of the MP-maps) and a good thing you released this as a CC!!! One of a kind and such fun to watch it, you really grasped and executed this theme to perfection!

    Emergo

I would have never thought this park was 4 years old. It just blew my mind and even after looking at the hint on the waterfall, I still can't figure it out. It took me a while to figure out the ascending/descending stairs too. Excellent work.
