I already commented on this as an accolade panelist, but a second comment can't hurt.

Although the execution was flawed, I thought that X-Fusion knew what he was doing. The ideas were definitely there, he just needs to improve his parkmaking skills. If you don't look at it so critically, it's a nice entry, especially in regards to the hotel. It had a certain nostalgia to it, which always catches my eye. ;)

On the PT3 release page: nice job! I don't have to click on stuff to see who made what, or see the park's score. Although I would change the yellow stuff to blue, just to match NE.

congrats on the entry x_fusion. remember some of your older stuff, you defintly showed improvement here. you had a ton of great ideas and some really creative stuff in this park. and your color was great, although that may be just because i love vibrant. the main problem i had was that while you had great idea, they were pooly executed, but as with any skill, as you play more, you will be able to add more detail and create you ideas more fully. your coasters were mostly boring, but you had some good building interaction which will help to enhance your design. congrats on the entry!

And very nice page release prep group!

    Nice little park there :)
Showed some good ideas and just lacked a bit in execution in my opinion.

But a good start to PT3 and well done for getting an entry in :)

Despite my very harsh vote (my apologies =/) the park was alright, just as others have stated, lacked in execution.

Wow, now I see where all the time went into with all these awesome PT3 pages!
Man, must've taken aaaaaages to figure out who did what when, and then to code everything, judge, do the artwork, do the write-ups etc..
Great job magnus on the aerial(s?).. You'll get a fair idea about the park when viewing those..

I haven't seen the park yet, but looks like a good start to the PT3!

woo I didnt get last. Or I got DQed because mine was so blatantly unfinished. If I didnt get DQed, I feel bad that I got a higher place than this park. Although it appears to be neither the most detailed or complete park, the colors and structures make it interesting. A nice improvement, I hope to see more from you.

A huge improvement from the last park I've seen from you, X_Fusion. Great job, and keep building. Some interesting stuff here.

Oh and excellent job on the PT3 guys. Glad they've finally gotten started.

Certainly not bad at all. Coaster layouts looked to be the weak point here, but other than that, it looks pretty nice. Great start to the PT3, I'd say.

Even though the park wasn't completed with the skill we're used to seeing around here, one thing's for sure, the fact that you finished the park shows a great deal. Most people around here can't finish things, so I'd say take that skill and try and move forward with ideas and execution more.

i agree with what everyone else said. first time i viewed the park i thought to myself "this guy really has a talent for arrangements and park pattern". something i believe to be much harder to "practice" than execution of ideas. thanks a lot for your entry and sorry for the wait x_fusion :)

Haven't looked at the park yet, but would just like to say that the general PT3 release pages were really good. Cleared up all the rules, and were really informative, explaining how everything works. Really useful :) Will comment on park later!

I should mention that my scoring was on a 14-20 scale, so 14 to the one I liked the least and a 20 to my #1. That way I use a different number for each. As for the park it was strange and n00bish, but not that bad. You need to bring more then this to make noise in an ne contest.

^wtf? you're telling me you cannot use a 0-20 scale properly?

I think in the chart it should say I liked this entry not submission cos submission to me is for one of the accolades :) Also the logo looks like it was squished :p

The park itself isn't bad. Good effort and you really should be proud that you submit an entry, not many people and any of the 7 deserve to be congratulated on that.

Also just out of interest why does it say Search Content in the nav trail?

Stop bitching JJ! It makes you look really dumb considering you just want to advertise your site.
The graphic is prefectly fine and nothing is squished there.

Will reply to the submission later.

I could of, but I wanted to do it the way it was done in the PT and PT2. That would have been the way it was done this time, but I am not an admin anymore, so I did not have a say in that

well isn't it great that you can adapt so well?! really, you never even told us you were voting on a different scale. why wouldn't you? it doesn't really matter though, because i think in all but one park were your votes dropped.

jj, i understand what you mean about the logo. it is in fact reduced in size a little. we intended to have them all in the same height so it would look uniform. we didn't expect people to send us logos with their entries, so x_fusion couldn't read the resolution we specified to the release prep guys, of course. about submission or entry, does it really make such a difference? i think it's fine. we like to call pt3 entries "submissions", too. they are submissions to the temporal discipline of "pt3". the other disciplines (spotlight, design, concept creation) are continuous.

^ Oh oke. Pages are looking awesome as a whole :)
Can see where you spent the time, good job :)

First off let me say I'm very impressed by the overall presentation of the contest. It's far more organized than that of previous contests and looks very clean. The only thing that's annoying is that when you (or I) click on the logo on the main page it directs you to the overall PT3 menu, rather than to the park who's logo you clicked on it. It would be nice if "New Sun Theme Park" took me to "New Sun Theme Park", you know?

No complaints though really, just a minor thing.

EDIT: and I see it has been corrected. Very nicely done. :)

As for the park itself I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The area around the trucks seems good and gritty, the city seemed clean and airy. It was also nice to sorta "stumble across" rides all over the park, like the river boats (Chute the Chutes) that I didn't notice from the overview.

The actual entry (as a whole) though, was rather bland. It seems incomplete as the flat landscape with lots of open ground pair up to make gaps between buildings, rides, and paths exceptionally obvious. The coasters could use some work, though I enjoyed the LIM quite a lot. It seems like it would be a really fun ride if it were real (even though from the overview it's rather awkward).

Anyway I wish you (X_Fusion) good luck in the future, and congratulate you on finishing an entry. Something I didn't do despite my best intentions.
