I'm not sure if anyone realized this or would consider doing this but here... ... .

Can you make animated large scenery? Ummm.. derr.. NO! Why yes you can, technically speaking...

This small tutorial is recommended to hardcore object makers only.

First off, you will need to make a static large scenery object. You may use whatever editor that floats your boat.

Let's just say you're already finnished. Once done, you will need to extract the full veiw images; you may use the landmark maker to do this. (so can dat checker v1.11 and dr j's editor)

This process is much like making small animated objects. One small veriation at a time. If you know how to make animations with small scenery, this should be no problem at all. Do as you would with small scenery, only outside an editor.

Now you must extract the single tile images. Landmark maker can do this as well (checker v1.11 can too). Turn those single tile images into multiple small scenery objects. They should fit like a puzzel ingame ;-)

Now your done! It really is just that easy.

So, you could take the egyptian pyramid, split it into small scenery, make it say, bounce up and down, and the pieces fit in game? Maybe you could make a swinging rope bridge or something like that. Although, AE did this with his simrides.
