Ask the Experts / RCT2 + WINDOWS 7 = fail

I know this subject has probably come up on this site before, but I just can't find the post which suits my problem. I have recently updated on my pcs to windows 7 and then tried to see if rct2 would install, but the process stalls at 34% and the computer freezes. I have tried this on more than one computer, one being 64-bit and others being 32-bit. I have also tried to run the pogramme in compatibility mode but that is useless. It seems to stalls while transfering the CSS45 file is that is any help. Does anyone know how to overcome this?

probally your disk is damaged. what you could try it making a image of your disk and mount that with demon tools and install from that.
also try to set the setup.exe on the disk to xp sp2 mode that could help also.
best way it to try several times if its just the disk which is damaged.
cleaning the disk could help also
