Ask the Experts / RCT corruption

So i've been having several problems with RCT2 running on my computer. Win 7, by the way.

1. Ocassionally when alt-tabbing, the screen turns to black, forcing me to restart my computer

2. I'm unable to do any advanced hacks. They'll either not do anything entirely or give me an ET when I shouldn't get one. This happens with compatibility settings on as well, by the way.

3. I'm now seeing my graphics turn to shit and nearly invert colors about five minutes into gameplay. It won't allow me to save, either.

4. Sometimes with RCT, my shift button won't work and will glitch completely. It'll lag a lot and won't raise the scenery whatsoever.

Not an expert by any means, especially since I don't run Windows 7. But I would at least try reinstalling if you haven't already. 

Is this when you pay the admins for accolades?

^He hasn't been paying enough, that's why no accolades

I don't know what to suggest apart from:

-have you made sure the compatibility settings are applied to both rct and trainers?

-have you tried reinstalling?

-if you are playing windowed mode have you tried playing normal?

I can't really help you all that much. I'm not an expert, I just happen to have worked out compatibility issues that work for 95% of people.
