That Carousel is maybe the most baffling thing I've ever seen in RCT.

The sword and the stone is a freaking awesome way to theme a drop tower!

@Version1: I helped develop that hack. You might see it in a Laborers park sooner or later as well, albeit purposed a bit differently. Glad to see the Barons using it nice and clean here as well.

The two parks are a lot different here. Raptor is obviously very clean, and somehow managed to make a very generic area in a very generic park look really exciting and fun. The lazer tag was an awesome addition, and I appreciated little hacks throughout, like the buffet line, and the chairlift turnaround. The source material might hold this back a little, granted, but I think a lot of people here at NE have a solid appreciation of Cedar Point.

The Stallions' park is a bit more organic, and has a very interesting, captivating environment. The fantasy here felt really tacked-on though, which I thought brought it down a bit. I would have liked to see more involvement with the fantastical elements, bringing them in as the foundation of the park, rather than seeming like an afterthought. The castle and a lot of the architecture was really nice, and the coaster was fun too, although really fast in places. Really solid park, and I like it a lot, honestly, I just thought it could use some more development.

This may be the best match-up in all of H2H history to be honest, and it will take a while for me to take it all in and make up my mind who to vote for..

 

It's 2 totally different parks with Raptor being an ultra realistic park but with lots of atmosphere and that true 'themepark feeling' oozing from every corner. On the other hand there's this idyllic world of Cylael with its natural beauty and awesome landscaping.

 

At the moment I'm leaning more towards Raptor just because there's a bit more to see and it seems more lively where Cylael has some pretty dead spots going on.. But I'll probably view it a few more times before voting..

 

Great job both teams and it sucks one park has to lose..

Why do I have to vote on just one park

 

This will be a quick review, since again, I suck at those.

 

Raptor is realism at its best. It's clean, has nice architecture and some cool hacks. It all just screams 'Cedar Point' to me. And I never even visited it I do think, however, that it's kinda empty, but oh well, so is the real thing.

 

I loved Cyleal because of the atmosphere. It feels like the towns from the older Final Fantasy games, and that's certainly good. The only thing that I didn't like about it, though, is that it's kinda dead compared to Raptor. Also that sexual music

I don't really understand cyleal. Is it based off something? There are like the blue things floating and it just confuses me.

I guess the blue thing is "magical crystal" or something like that?

Ways to pander to Coasterbill...

 

1) Re-create Raptor: the best invert in America and do it flawlessly (Banshee, Afterburn, Montu and Alpengeist are all great but fuck outta here with that shit...)

 

2) Re-create the Cedar Point Sky Ride with Von Roll Cars and actually go through the trouble of mixing up the orders of the colors.

 

3) Make the concrete fucked up on purpose for the sake of realism.

 

I'll look over each park in detail and leave a more thorough review of each but I felt like a kid on Christmas morning opening Raptor and it didn't disappoint.

I can't even describe the rage I feel currently for being at work when these parks were posted. Can't wait to check them out. Well done to both teams for putting out what seems to be two excellent pieces of RCT, bravo!

what I don't like:

1. A little unfinished. needs more details and "magical things" cause it's a fantasy park. The only fantasy I found is a big sword and those blue things.

2. I have to find out what the blue thing is in a readme.

1. Little good hacks.

2. Bars shops and arcades. Detailed and vivid.(especially the use of neon objects. and you have the best starbucks in RCT)

3. Peep friendly. Happy atmosphere.

4. Custom2.wav is sexy.

5. Realistic style.

6. The rollercoaster. nice support

what I don't like:

1. Colors... my eyes

2. Some garden and building can be improved.

3. Too plain. But I know cause it's a realistic park...

My vote goes to Raptor.
