Rules & Guidelines
Select your favourite screens from January 2016 in the poll above. Only make a selection when you've looked at each screen - I suppose this is not an issue. You can select as many screens as you want, but of course, the more you select, the less impact your vote will have. I'd say vote on all screens that you think would be worthy winners. You may select one if you think it is far and above the other screens, but if you can't choose, feel free to select four or five screens. Do whatever you feel you have to do. You may also vote on yourself, if you genuinly think your screens is the best of the bunch. Be aware though that this is controversial in the eyes of some. Oh, and votes are public!
Do not just vote for your friends, do not just not vote for your enemies. Be fair and critical in your assessment.

If by renaissance you mean one really good new player and another really good established player being active for the first time in a year then yes.
There will be a LL spotlight in 2016 though, that is probably guaranteed.

I'd say that any increase in interest is the result of a few really high quality projects, not really an overall increase in people caring about LL. If there are great things being done in LL, people will care, and at the moment great things are being done.
Last year was great for LL though, we had two near spotlight winners and a bunch of other high quality stuff. I don't know if we will have more LL releases necessarily in 2016, but some of those releases will have a higher quality.
Personally I'd argue that we have been in a bit of a renaissance since H2H7 that is still on the upside, rather than the verge of one. -

If you ask me, I started this renaissance back with Jerusalem.
I mean have you even seen jerusalem?
And then you know Wild Wild West was just another excellent piece of LL from me, it's like i'm unstoppable when it comes to LL.

The big uptick in LL activity was definitely last year; poke, csw, and alex all got serious. Hell, we're going to have actual competition in the LL awards categories for the first time in 3-4 years.

There is a positive vibe of LL with several new projects. I'd say we're a player or two short of a renaissance...

If only I could get codex to work without having to change 20 settings every time I use it, I would definitely be building more. I also have no ideas and a really full schedule.
I'm sure I'll get building sometime, but not necessarily soon
