Congratulations! Mamba vs Taipan wasn't my favourite area in the contest, but I think it's justified that it beat Egypt.

Interesting to see who made what, by the way. I only got Stoksy and bigshootergill wrong. I thought Alex made Hybrid, but I was never sure about that at all. Bigshootergill, it's great to see you doing something else again. Since H2H most of your work has looked somewhat similar... That's why I didn't guess you right away. In hindsight I could've known, the trackitecture sculptures should've reminded me of Asteroid Fields. Dirt, great to see you play again. Your area was another area I wasn't sure about, it didn't look like anyone's work... Brilliant stuff too.

I will review all of the areas, if the creators would be so kind to upload a pretty screenshot.

Fucking Louis! What?! Did not expect that at all. Really interesting to see some players who haven't (appeared) to be active building-wise come up with some great entries [looking at you Fisch, dr dirt, Louis!, Ling].

 

Gratz on the victory Kumba, all round pretty cool contest. Pleasure to be a part of it.

The host of the contest wins. Is there a bigger picture here? All in all it was still fun.

That's kind of hilarious Darren, congrats on the win, well deserved for sure.

 

Even when Stosky builds something completely different from his usual, there is just something that is appealing to me about it.

I just wanted to build a nice area to set the bar high and went with a duel to make it more interesting. I actually lost a lot of time on my third day, had really wanted to improve everything on the station edge of the map. It was supposed to be themed more to Discovery channel shows, but never really expressed that. I built right after Bigshootergill did Hybrid and asked him to be my witness that I followed the rules and built in 3 days, which I did. This was my first time doing NCSO since the game came out and I was making n00b parks, I really enjoyed it and will not hesitate to try some NCSO again.

 

I thought Thunderhead was the best and Desperado was really outstanding. Both of those areas were also among the hardest to guess. Throughout the contest no one guessed Stoksy did Thunderhead. Here's where I had each entry ranked:

Any full blown NE contests on the radar this year? It seems like all talk has fizzled on this topic so far!

 

EDIT: Glad I was able to fool most on the site for Survivor, though a few had me pegged for Hybrid. Almost didn't build, but it was a fun contest. Thanks Kumba.

haha. Well done Kumba! Best mix of creativity and quality execution I think. I thought Hybrid was great too, kudos BSG.. I had no idea! I thought it could have been Fisch because the supports looked similar to Buccaneer.
I regret not putting some time aside to build but it was fun guessing and voting anyway, good job organising.

I'd just like to say a big Fuck You to everyone who hated on Egypt. Consider yourselves banned.

Glad a few people liked Desperado, or, probably the only RCT I will do this year.
