Round 3 - Match-Up #1: Corkscrewed vs. Junya Boy
#1 Corkscrewed with his entry:
Spaceport Gamma
#5 Junya Boy with his entry:
[Untitled]
After 4 votes by the judges, the winner, by a score of 4 to 0, is... Corkscrewed
Corkscrewed marches on to the lite 8 in what will be a David and Goliath match-up weather he faces Camcorder22 or Comet. Both will undoubtedly bring their best work to the table as a win over Cork would put them in the final 4 which means an automatic NE Parkmaker birth. The only question is can anyone beat Cork in a tournament? HE'S 8-0!
Junya thats the best work i've seen you produce and its very nice. I like how wacky the area is underneath and how tranquil the main area is on top. A few more defining ideas might of got you the win.
Congrats to you both for upping your game every round and producing six nice entries between you both.
Congrats Cork on the win.
All in all, a great first round and congrats to cork for making it to the elite 8!

Oh, and if Comet won and happened to beat Corky, an automatic Parkmaker birth? Seriously? I mean, Comet's good, but he got here mostly on forfeits. Who knows how it woulda turned out if he had to face somebody, could been an upset...
Good to see your around Comet as that means you've probably done an entry. I have to say that if either of us can beat Corkscrewed running at full effort, we deserve a parkmaking spot despite what our previous rounds entries were against. Although it would be a lot of pressure to release something though. I shouldnt be looking ahead that far anyway as I might not make it out of this round, but its a nice thought I guess.

Junya's entry is really, really nice. Another matchup where the score does not match the quality of the entries. I love the dual worlds, although after the initial impressive layers, the architecture and general atmosphere do get a little redundant on each level. That's a minor gripe, and only used to differentiate things, I guess. It's definitely a really good entry.

Did you vote? Junya needs a vote. Any vote. He's getting shut out.
