    Aviator is pretty much my first (successful) attempt at an Arrow suspended coaster. Theaming is nothing special, the coaster is ment to be located in some fictional Cedar Fair park or something. The layout is based more on coasters like XLR-8 and Iron Dragon rather than the terrain-based Big Bad Wolf or Ninja.

    i am so glad to see ll players with potential still active at this site.
    can't view it right now as my computer is rendering a video. 99% cpu usage.
    am going to edit this post once i've looked.


    edit; right. i enjoyed this. the lift hill stairs didn't do much for me. i prefer them done by a path.
    other than that, it was a very sweet design. the coaster was well done and convincingly realistic. i enjoyed the relaxxed atmosphere. the buildings are good, you know that :)
    what i didn't like was the shrubbing down under the coaster. it seems as if you still throw them in for the sake of it. think of something more meaningful to do with the terrain and it will work out better.
    your style reminds me so much of my own, it's insane. we have to get ciel going quickly.

    It's pretty good. I loved the layout and theming, but, like steve said, the buildings were pretty weak.

    Yyo, from Lost Isles to Obelisk to Secondattempt and this, your style has matured as much as any NE parkmaker's, except in about half the time it would take most of them. I get the feeling that you've experimented around so much before and been so productive that every bush, path and detail in here was entirely meant to be in its place, with consideration for both local and overall atmosphere, instead of just half-assed. That those buildings were minimalist because they were meant to be that way - love it or leave it.

    I don't want to overestimate, but you've really got all the qualifications of an NE parkmaker: very productive, far down a path of maturation in style (at least as far as metalface IMO) and having a style that oozes charm and refinement. Most of the time you've been focusing on doing your architecture in small, neat blocks and that's what in my opinion has held you back. That and the more recent issue of the lack of land height variation. If you were to move into something more unified and less fragmented as far as architecture goes, along with some land variation, I think the case would be unarguable.

    Regarding the amount of trains that are running and the queueline, I'd rather say Six Flags : D

    Great stuff, altough the roofing on the queues looks quite bizarre.

    Thanks for the comments everyone. Corkscrew, I usually use that type of roofing on quees, it just looks really nice to me and I never see anyone else use it.

    posix, I'm glad you liked this, I thought you would. Yes, we do need to get started on ciel soon, so many good ideas, now we just have to go build them. And yeah, I submitted this for design but it didn't make it.

    Now someone just needs to rename the topic subtitle: "Panic tells it like it is." ;)

    Panic definitely has it right.

    Yyo, is my #1 LL non-parkmaker player atm. Everything you do is so sweet, and charming, but so beautiful and elegant. I cannot get over your lovely parks, and coasters! I want more.

    Wow, that layout is pretty hawt. :p I actually think the lift hill steps worked well, except I would have offset them to the left instead of them being centered, since in the center is the track that catches the wheels under the car which hold it steady. Unless of course, that's what you intended it to be.

    Interesting stuff all around...I'm glad to see all these different themes being pumped out from you. Keep it up. :)
