Congrats on the release JK. A huge achievement to complete something this big (yet again). I think it's a great example of how you've embraced modern rct aesthetics without forgetting the old-school foundation that shaped you. Undoubtedly a spotlight in my eyes; I'll leave the score to the panel.

You absolute madlad... this is the park equivalent of "above and beyond." There's just so much to see here that commenting on it all would require writing a book.

The architecture is beautifully done, and in a variety of styles; I love the streamline buildings in the Cars section. Everywhere I look, there's some new, wildly hacked ride. This park is overwhelming in the best possible way, I can and will probably look at it many times more and will find something new each time.

My favorite area would probably have to be the toy story section. The architecture is so playful and nostalgic; I love all the colorful geometric shapes and the open layout. The sculptures are also very nice. In fact, it's the sculptures that are the highlight of the park imo. Seeing Zurg and the Omnidroid really made me smile. Then there are the miniatures, like the background in the Ratatouille section; that's some very fine detail work.

Overall, it's a serious achievement to finish a park like this. I have a feeling this will be NE's most impressive release for a long, long time.

What can I say? I'm not going to comment in detail because there's so much to say and highlight, and the park is so dense that I'd need few more days to finish exploring it.

This park has a very personal echo to me, cause I think that when I started rct2, this park would have been a kind of ultimate dream for me, an accomplishment of what I would have loved to build on rct. And finally today someone did it!!! It's a unique feeling to explore a park you've dreamed for years...

I'm more than happy to contemplate it today, because it's wonderful, so lively and realistic, I can totally see myself in your park, wandering around...  The finest work I've seen on rct2 ever, without any doubt!

Congratulations JK on your amazing work

Alright, well time to chime in. Let's start with my Top 10 cons:

[1] Roofs open? Really, strange choice. Where does the wall end and the roof begin? Would like to have seen more rooftop duct work and less ride design and scenery.

[2] Too much Pixar! How about some How to Train Your Dragon or Shrek. What a ripoff!

[3] Take it easy with details, geez! A little too perfect imo. JK clearly doesn’t know when to stop being a show-off.

[4] Kind of overdid it with your genius level ideas, maybe limit it to just a few next time

[5] Tried to find an area that could be better, really wasted my precious time with this pointless endeavor. Came up empty.

[6] I always seem to be especially drawn to one area of a park, one significant standout, but couldn't pick one here. They're all amazing and perfect. Two big thumbs down!

[7] Can't stand how good your object making skills have become, all the new objects really pushed this park over the tippy top. Gives me an inferiority complex.

[8] I’ve already toured this park more times than I’ve talked to my mom this month. She won't be happy with you.

[9] Park opened zoomed out. For real dude??!? Don't really like having to start viewing a new park by scrolling with my mouse wheel right off the bat. Ain't nobody got time for that.

[10] I want to show this park with my two boys, but they're too young, they won't get it yet. Another thing to add to my to do list when they're older. Don't really like these make work projects.

In summary... hands down my favorite park of all time. Checks every box for me, feels like the pinnacle of rct for me, right up there with the best of the best of what NE has to offer. Thank you for an amazing experience that will keep me coming back for years to come.

    Actual review instead of "second"

I really enjoyed the tight, dense spaces throughout this entire park.  Its the type of parkmaking I imagine that requires a strong attention to detail, a very good sense of a bench and object making, and precise macro planning.  Seeing how it all ties together the way it does area to area without feeling out of place shows how you considered colors and themes and how'd they look against each other from a macro.  For instance, how Up translates into Monsters Inc while both using a similar color palette was a really nice choice considering the "open" feel you went with both.  There's also an overabundance of great signs making the detail hunting very satisfying.

I think my favorite section is the Incredibles and then Coco, maybe because they're my favorite Pixar films but regardless.  This is insane to have started and finished, and I can't imagine how long this took between reiterating and designing areas which required creative and mostly unique ride design to feel "in theme" such as the Suit Up ride and the Soul theater.  Probably my favorite park to have released in a long time and I will be definitely coming back to it repeatedly especially for how you handled interiors and cutouts.  Every angle you see something new!  Incredible work

The astonishing thing about this park is the amount of content packed into every space. Everywhere you look there is something interesting and it's all executed to an amazing degree, yet none of it feels overwhelming or crowded, it all has just enough room to breathe in between the themed areas with each one transitioning beautifully to one another. I'm sure every time I come back to this I'll find another detail I missed.

I haven't seen some of the films represented here but the iconography of each was instantly recognisable. My favourite section being the Ratatouille facades with the micro skyline behind. Incredible stuff JK! One of the greatest parks ever made.

I don't feel to be in the position to write out a full review here, I'm not a natural critique. (So instead I'll just go on and on about everything I love here.) But I just want to say that this is probably one of my favourite parks ever. I could look at this for hours, every single angle has something to look at. You didn't forget anything, it's phenomenal. Everything looks exactly right and the new objects you made for this work exceptionally well. The macro is dare I say perfect, I think you managed to get the perfect balance of outside and indoor theming. The theming on the outside of the buildings are super playful, it really feels like you're in a Pixar movie, no matter where you look.
I think I'll just stick around looking at everything here for the following few hours, this is definitely a piece you should cherish and be proud of. #glaze

First impression to me is this park feels like getting punched in the face over and over, getting up, and then a meteor collides with the earth directly on top of you. There is so much wow factor and attention to detail in every area, big or small. Every time I think I've seen everything, I rotate the camera and once again wonder how the hell you came up with whatever I just saw. For how many new objects are in this park (to incredible effect), you also show off so much mastery with existing objects and utilizing that transparent color to give them new purposes. One of the defining RCT feats of this decade and another feather in the cap of what I can call the greatest comeback in RCT. It's tough for me to give out 100s but this is at least a 95/yes.

+ Monsters Inc. coaster that duels with the doors.

+ Red and black Incredibles facade.

+ Forced perspective cityscape in the Ratatouille area.

+ Ratatouille dark ride. Amazing use of objects to create large-scale interiors.

    + Up and Soul theaters.

    + Huge Omnidroid sculpture.

+ Landscaping and ride hacking in the Nemo area.

    + Playland mural and facade.

    + The entire Coco area.
    + Tram station.

+ Even the outskirts are so beautiful and detailed, almost like a painting.

    - Two Vekoma inverts is a little odd but not a huge dealbreaker.

    - Use of muddy ground texture along the river gives it kind of a jagged shape.

I can't open it. It says it's missing "splitvision.ride.vertwater". I have no idea what that is. It also says "file contains invalid data," but I don't know if that's the same error or not.

  • Bluetiful_Monday%s's Photo

Descriptive, integrated, imaginative, and faithful to the source material across the board, Pixar is a landmark release. At least on the discussion table for the best park ever made. Despite the shear level of detail, nothing feels forced or crammed. You paid close attention to the primary sight-lines, while also nudging the viewer to rotate the map for further exploration. Each angle is just masterfully pieced together.

I’ll let the others go into detail to describe exactly why these areas work so well, but my favorite moments are the architecture, signage, and unbridled intensity. I think you’ll be hard-pressed to find a park with more replay value than this. Congratulations JK.

First impression seeing this at some point while it was still in the work was 'I can't believe someone is actually doing this, holy shit this is sick'. Last impression is the same, except you actually finished it you absolute madman.

I was called in pretty late in this project, but man am I grateful! The thing is, while I may have spend a good amount of time hanging in VC helping out, that simply just proves that the amount of work and dedication you put into this project is absolute insanity. And the results? Nothing less than one of a kind amazing.

I could go on about all the good things I love about this park. Some highlights for me:

    - Favorite ride hands down the Monster's Inc 'MORE DOORS!' ride.
    - Favorite aesthetic is Coco, Just so colorful and you really ended up mastering the macro and the vibes.
    - Pizza planet and the whole Buzz area has a special place in my heart

    - Ratatouille ride is the most fun ride and I so want to try it in real life
    - Pixar Pier coaster - need I say more? Just beautiful style and execution

I could go on, but the simple fact is that there is nothing I don't like. Every corner, nook, cranny has been filled with good rct. Even though I've had the file for a while I still find new stuff, still find myself exploring all areas, object mastery and creativity in the ride design.

So JK, what an achievement. Enjoy this time of love from the community, you deserve it.

Thanks for letting me be part of the ride!

I never knew the word ‘Fun’ was spelled with a J and a K, but it is! This park is exactly that: It’s Fun! It’s fun to watch all the Pixar IP’s. It’s fun to see how many creative ideas you came up with each and everyone of them. It’s fun to see how you tied them all together and executed it so perfectly. Perhaps I haven’t made my point clearly yet, but IT’S FUN! There is just so much content. Every time I think I’ve seen most of it, I turn around and there is even more. The park is in a similar style as Babar Tapie has, but the execution is with even more craftmanship. Also, your skills as an object maker shine in this project. I’m certainly going to come back to this park time and time again for inspiration, for new objects and . . . just to have fun. Thank you J K for a wonderful park.
