    A huge congratulations, JK, on this monumental release! This is without a doubt going to be a legendary spotlight in the NE community for years to come. Every inch of the map is packed with life, detail, and creativity. Personally, my favorite areas are the Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and Cars sections. Some really amazing objects too, many of which are bound to become go-to staples in realism parks going forward. Hats off on this amazing, legendary release!

    JK, I don't think I can say anything that hasn't already been said to shine any more light on this absolutely stunning work of art.

     

    This is truly one of the best parks NE - and thus, the world - has ever seen.  I think one of the strengths in this release is the use of coaster manufacturers and models that aren't usually at the forefront of large, IP parks.  And yet, you fit them so well into their respective scenes. 

     

    This park oozes charm and has cemented you as one of the all-time greatest to have played this game.

    JK, I can not describe the pure joy I had exploring this park. 

     

    My daughter (who is now 37) would follow along with my park building back in the day and was the one who actually told me about RTC2.  She is also a HUGE Pixar fan so when I opened the map, I immediately called her on Discord and shared my screen as we explored this masterpiece together.

     

    We just spent the last 2 hours going over the park and was a great experience as we both discovered the details together.  My daughter and I talk often about all kinds of things from real life, my grandson, Disney, to anything at all. That said, this discussion we just had looking at this park is now one of those core memories for me as this park brought so much joy and laughter while we explored the park.  So many times I heard or started a comment with, "Is that ..." or "look over here, its...."

    There are soooo many great ideas and stuff we would not even have thought of and you managed to do all this in RCT2.  I will visit this park many times and Im sure I will find something new each time.  As other have said, this is (for me) the absolute best park I have had the pleasure to explore.  My hat is off to you.  Absolutely well done!

    This build should be required viewing for anyone who wants to make a truly themed park.

     

    The ride design is perfection across the board, from the layouts, to the theming, to the ride choices. It's so refreshing to open a park and not just see all the standards: an LSM launch, an RMC, a classic woodie. The Maurer Frozone ride is one of my favorite coasters in any build. The theming is perfect and the choice of ride type is inspired.

     

    In terms of lands, my favorite is the Coco zone. It's beautiful. How you managed to stuff in so much content while keeping everything perfectly visible is the work of a master. The signage is top notch across the board but it really stands out here.

     

    I'm far from an expert on CSO, but I love the combination of pieces, with many recognizable to me, and the ones you created yourself (or had created for you, idk) fitting in seamlessly. 

    I had only two minor quibbles, and they were not enough to keep me from giving this 100. But I'll share them here anyway. 

    1) It can be a difficult to tell at first glance what is indoors and what is outdoors. It's always possible to figure out, but it takes me a second sometimes.

    2) I wish you had built a path from the main entrance directly to the RC launch halfpipe ride (one of my favorite rides here by the way).

     

    That said, would I change a thing? Hell no. You built something amazing that was true to your vision and clearly a labor of love. If I ever try to build something significant again, this park will be my No. 1 reference for ride theming. Amazing work. 100/100.

    Ok Thanks to JK I was able to open the park and o my God what a park. This is the best park I have seen so far in 2025. The theming here is just our of this world. Every time I think I have seen everything there is to see in a section I change angles and bam there is more to see. I think it will take me some time to see everything. But JK you and the rest of your crew have created a fantastic park that will be one of my favorites for a long time to come.

    Wow! This park is absolutely spectacular. The size of the park blew me away when I first opened it. The atmosphere is so strong with all of the music and cut-away scenes. The outskirts are wonderfully done and really make the park feel grounded. The macro is very well done for the most part and all of the transitions between areas flow extremely well. Nothing seems out of place or odd.  

    Foliage and Landscaping: Really amazing throughout. It is clear that so much attention to detail was used when creating this park. The land texturing was done masterfully. All of the grass, water, and rockwork in this map look very true to life and everything has its own character. The rocks all look so real in their forms and they all seem to be placed with intention. This scene showcases the foliage and landscaping really well.

    I love the river detailing and the land texturing here. The transitions are so smooth and work so well.  

    The foliage objects and coloring you used were fantastic mostly. I did think some of the trees were a bit saturated in color but that's a minor nitpick. This scene showcases the foliage really well around the queue line.

    This area is so beautiful! I wish I could stand in line here haha.  

    Architecture: I don’t really know where to start in this section to be honest. I think I’ll start by saying that I have never seen a RCT park integrate such large menacing buildings so well. Even though you have like 7 different massive boxes that house the wonderful interiors and themed areas you’ve made, everything looks very pleasing and natural from the outside. Your use of facades and ideas like the blue sky coloring on the side of buildings really made them blend in really well. The skyline scenes throughout the park are absolutely breath taking! The objects selection is honestly pretty genius in some areas of this park. There were multiple times where I thought you made custom objects just to realize that I was looking at extremely clever uses of already existing objects (the miniature skyline, the Eifel tower, the house from up).  

    The actual buildings themselves were incredible. I was genuinely amazing that you were able to produce such detailed archy on such a big scale and across so many different styles. I honestly don’t know if I could even pick out a favorite area. Below I’ve included some of my favorite buildings in the park

    The back stage areas were also really well done for the most part. I do wish there was a bit more going on in some parts but again its a pretty minor nitpick.  

    Rides: The ride interaction you achieved throughout this park is pretty amazing. All of the layouts are really well done. I loved that in every single section of the park there is always at least 2 big attractions that compliment each other really well.  

    Overall: I hope that you are proud that this park! This is definitely my park of the year so far. I think this park will live on as one of the all-time greats. I’m glad that this won spotlight, and got such a high score. It definitely deserves it! 95%/yes

    October 2024 I joined a mid-day (US Time) NE Discord VC with people I knew already, and some NE person with a British accent. 

     

    20-30 minutes later I sent the following Dm to one of the people who had just left the chat: "dude after you left JK showed us his solo. Holy Forkballs. Themed to every Pixar movie. Every movie has a huge building filled with rides and references and statues. It's all SUPER immersive and cohesive. Nusto good, dude."

    Little did I know at that time that the park was the least interesting thing that happened to me that day, even if it was likely the best RCT content I had ever seen. 

     

    From cross the ocean, Six Flags World of Pixar Animation Studios gave birth to a wonderful internet friendship. After that fateful, random introduction to JK, I never would have guessed we'd spend hours discussing the RCT community through DM, chatting about work, family, and life over VC, or just shooting the shit. 

     

    Watching this park come together and gaining a friend as genuine and caring as JK is easily one of the highlights of my short RCT career. Always quick to give a look to a park, share some advice, or listen to feedback himself, the guy truly cares about the game, and the people involved in it. 

     

    We're all lucky to have Jk floating around, not only dropping parks like this, but just engaging the community and being a pillar of NE. 

     

    It's sappy as hell, but I'm really happy I joined that VC - the real winner of Universal Studios: Disney's Pixar Extravaganza are the friends we made along the way.

     

    Oh and I gave the park 100%. It's absurd how much love was poured into this thing. The objects, the detail, the scale of it is really mind blowing. What a joy to open and explore - it's one of those parks that I'll open again, and again, and I'm sure I'll see something new each time.

    I've yet to observe this fully in game yet, but I just wanted to echo everyone and congratulate you on the achievement, Jonny! It was a pleasure watching this park come to fruition and witness the level of care and expertise you built it with. 

    Alongside that, it's been a joy to have you back in the community and see you invest so much of yourself into it. NE wouldn't be the same without you.

    I can't open the park, it says there's no object. Of course, I went into a complete nuclear panic. I've tried everything and it still won't open (I'm crying). But seeing the image of the park, I fell in love with what I saw. Its absurdly beautiful, its absurdly rich in details and colors. I especially went crazy when I saw "DE LA CRUZ"

    JK you absolute madman. I finally got round to looking at this properly in-game and I'm blown away. Somehow the overview screenshot doesn't capture how BIG this is. The sheer scale and ambition and vision of this project is something else (as evidenced by the in-game year of 1,642?!!!) Each area has a unique look and feel but there's still a coherent overall style which pulls everything together very well. Even the 'boring' outsides of the buildings and backstage areas are so full of things to look at (in no small part due to all the new objects you made which I'm sure we'll see cropping up in everyone else's parks soon). I don't think I can really add anything beyond what others have said already, but this park is a real joy to explore. I've spent ages looking at it and I'm still spotting new things all over the place. I'm sure it'll be one that I come back to again and again. You should be very proud of what you've achieved here!!

    Amazing park Jonny! Just so much creative content all over. Sadly... a lot of it is lost on me since I have not seen most of these movies and the few I have seen were a long time ago. Still, I think you did an amazing job and I get the fun vibes even if I could understand them better.

     
    Pros/Main highlights for me:
    + The indoor park aspect was something I was skeptical of from the start, but you did it so well. This park left me feeling no wish to see cutaways, since you built so much of it with that in mind. Fantastic work settings up all the great views inside the key buildings. 
    + The coaster layouts were all pretty solid.
    + Love the cutaways to the Q with the scenes on the Monsters Inc ride.
    + Suit up is so awesome, love the hacks on it
    + Great job on the new realistic objects, I love them and will be using them soon! Also nice work on all the custom objects to fit the park too.
    + Great little details like peeps up against the fish tank glass and good scenes all around. 
    + Like everything else... just so much to see in this park
     
    Cons (just me being picky really, lol): 
    - The crunch was lacking and inconsistent, even seemed forced in some places where you made some effort at it. You still seem to struggle a little to pull together a detailed aesthetic like Leon, Andrew and Hydro can do. Your style has always been a bit too clean in some ways, just so much colorful fun and that was done so well here.
    - Are the mechanics on strike? You have like 100 just hanging out all around the park, I found that odd.
    - There were a few little bits that lacked finish. I get the feeling you might have rushed it just a little bit. 
     
    In the end, this park is just so much high-quality work with diverse areas, it's my new #1 park ever, just ahead of Riverland. Still, I think my vote would be close between 90/Yes and 95/Yes. It being very in touch with the modern meta is what puts it so high for me, even if I feel it could have been a little better.

    I've not been on discord in ages, but I still like to pop into the site to see what you guys are releasing... What a freaking surprise this is.

    Wow, just from the overview, this park is truly magnificent. The size, the immersive themes, the build quality and design; it's just a journey of never-ending mindboggling-ness. It's actually making me want to install Open on my new laptop, I can't say any park has made me feel this way since I was a kid who joined NE in 2005. 

     

    Couldn't be happier to see such a groundbreaking release come from one of our Legendary Parkmakers, who already set milestones in achievement in this game 15 years ago. Congrats J K, in my mind you've cemented your place as one of the best to ever touch this game!

    Oh wow.

     

    Let me just preface this with a heartfelt: congratulations J K!

    You made a truly one-of-a-kind legendary park here, unrivalled in the amount of content and quality of it throughout. Your hard work and perseverance on this project is absolutely inspiring. The great score it got is more than deserved and ill be sure to come back to this park over and over to learn and get inspiration!

     

    Take that as a small tldr before we go into the deep dive here. Maybe get a cup of coffee, this might be a long one! Alright! Starting off with:

     

    Entrance area, parking lots and backstage:

     

    I’m a big fan of the entrance area of the park. From the moment you enter the gates it exudes character and attention to detail starting with the Pixar lamp above the “I”. This alone would get me pumped up and excited for the coming day at the park. The buildings are very nice and detailed and contain all of the utilities a park entrance should have.

     

    The pathing is great, I love the flowy grey path shapes that are worked in and that help break up the sea of path along with the nice planters. Highlight for me are easily all the pixar details though, from the star in the center to all the awesome custom statues and entertainers in costumes throughout!

     

    I also like all the peep details from waiting groups and handymen sweeping up dirt, they give the entrance a lot of life and are an absolute must-have in my opinion! One small touch that could’ve elevated it even further (and that goes for pretty much all of the park) would be to add a few frozen peeps via peep editor every now and then into the masses.

    By naming them you could then give the different situations a little more context and also push the world-building from already-uber-extreme into the next level (uber-uber-extreme lol).

     

    I also think there is a bit of a detail discrepancy between the entrance and the parking lot areas, which is probably my biggest critique of the park. The driving lots, roads and tram are all kinda dead. With a park of this insane quality, I would’ve wanted to see peep details, driving and parking cars and a driving tram, preferably with peeps too!

    I also think with the right parking lot, it’s a bit apparent that lots of it was copy and pasted and the left parking lot looks a bit weird with a large area like that being on the diagonal.

    Does all this take away from my enjoyment of the park? Not really, I mean it’s the parking lot lol. What I do like about them though is the overall look and again all the details, with bins, benches and parking ticket machines – which I believe is a new object you made and a great addition.

     

    The Backstage area is a lot better again, with walking mechanics and driving cars! I especially love the flowy overgrown structures above the road! Aircons, pipes, boxes, containers, road and area markings; all very nice.

    Another cool addition are the extra trains for the people mover, although I want to mention here that it is insane to do them out of 3 separate rides. Use 1 ride god dammit ;P!

     

    Toy Story:

     

    Onto the first actual area, Toy Story. And man is it a good one. People enter the building and what do they see? Huge statue with great ride interaction and a following launch just ahead of them; A top head with awesome structure, integrated loops for movement and the spike of a reverse freefall coaster built into it on the left and a great pizza planet restaurant with moving sign and more masterful ride interaction on the right.

     

    Off the bat, this is one of my favorite coasters of the park. Very aggressive pacing and tons of inversions – not necessarily what you would expect from a pixar park (when being used to Disney parks for example). This is good though, because it sets the tone for whats to come and that is not just a bunch of family rides!

    Absolutely adore the integration here, jumping in and out from underneath and through different cutouts and structures.

    Also a big fan of the queue with the sign, lighted up path with arrows to lead the guests and through a suspended glass tunnel that mimics the one of the launch.

     

    For flats here I want to point out Zurgs blaster, which has a dope structure in the middle and is a very clean and fun ride. I thought at first this was a custom flat because its so glitchless and clean – very nice!

     

    Playland:

     

    Next up we have Playland which I guess is the outside extension of Toy Story.

    First thing I noticed was the wonderful sign for the area made out of toy blocks, a theme that goes throughout the area, along with pencils, dominoes and other toys. I love that this is completely ingrained into the building facades and path too – the immersion never breaks!

    The dominoe flooring patterns and coloring from pencils that also sometimes reach out like poles are brilliant!

     

    The foliage is also done really well and is almost the only thing that reminds you that you are technically outside. Atleast I think its outside, honestly its sometimes a bit hard to tell whats outside and whats in a building, because the theming is so thick!

     

    The coaster here, "Escape from Al’s Toy Barn", is another damn good one. Again masterfully integrated into the landscape with tons of interaction.

    I especially like the cheetah hunt-esque section and the way the queue wraps around it, with the theming and fountain inside! The colorful queue shade things are a nice callback to the blocks again.

    The station building is very nice too and quite close to the original (which I had to pull up cause I don’t know shit about Pixar haha). Also like the vehicle-cow in front of the barn, sometimes im amazed what kind of stuff exists in CSO.

    The only thing I dislike is the small helix and the relatively tight curves before it, that the coaster takes a fair bit too fast in my opinion.

     

    For other attractions I like the tater time theatre, very cute.

    Then the parachute drop is dope too, I love how it “spills” out onto the path and the top of the structure built out of train vehicles is really nice and even relatable for me. Something I could see myself imitating in dkso for sure! I probably would’ve built the attraction as 1 ride with 1 queue instead of 4, but it doesn’t really matter.

     

    UP:

     

    Lots of branching paths so next up is… up!

    First a bit unassuming, but it actually houses (;P) one of my favorite attractions! A flying theatre, which is perfect for the spirit of up and that uses perspective tricks to actually show a bit of the action on a large screen. Just wonderful.

    Love how the airship is built with vehicles that actually move a bit and the clouds and plane flying through the screen are so great in giving movement and life to the show.

     

    I also love the queue, the integration of the people mover into the wonderful façade with the house and miniature skyline on top! The kite marking on the path is also a seemless transition from the toy elements of the area before and there is even some small peep scenes with text that I enjoyed!

     

    Now I don’t know if these attractions still belong to up, but I also really like dog fight and paradies falls. Great, more nature focussed attractions that make for interesting layers with the rapids on bottom, then the path and then the planes above!

     

    Soul:

     

    I absolutely adore the building facades here, they look freakishly good. The signage is also insane.

    The highlight is of course the huge Soul sign itself, but I also really enjoyed the jazz club sign. Bonus point with the little band in front and the peep scene too!

    I also like that you can see the peeps move in the queue through the windows here.

     

    Then the attraction itself is unique, very well designed and detailed with the walls and please-no-copyright-strike screens. Also absolutely masterfully shoestringed I must say ;P. Has some form of hypnotic character almost the way it rotates.

     

    I guess this is also a nice spot to say: thank you for having me on the project! My contribution was tiny, but it means a lot to me!

     

    Monstropolis:

     

    Another great little area. The buildings again look great, with a nice colorschemes too. Those center gardens are charming, but a bit empty. That one static entertainer is completely alone, give him some friends!

    Aside from that lots of lovely touches with the eyeball motif and parasols.

     

    The main attraction, Boo’s Door Chase, is an absolute banger. That moving door train really makes the attraction for me, along with the awesome queue and station! Really well done cutouts that show all those intricate scenes and the exit from the station presumably leaving through those doors is really cool.

     

    The supporting attractions are a bit unassuming here. The theatre building is awesome, but pretty much one angle and the go kart needed a cutout like the queue perhaps, to be a bit more visible. Still a fantastic area overall, but not among my favorites.

     

    The Incredibles:

     

    Another absolute wow moment for me.

    The entrance with the miniature skyline is perfect.

     

    "Frozone" is an awesome coaster with perhaps the best IP to theme integration for me. The frozen ice effect on those buildings is chefs kiss.

    Love the maurer representation in the park and the layout is super unique and interesting with the skyloop-style overhead lift. Again perhaps slightly overpaced for my liking with those tophats and the small helix, definitely a very extreme coaster. Ill chalk my pacing complains up to personal preference ;P.

     

    "Suit up" is another one of my favorite attractions. Really dope dark ride and great details that kept me rotating my view because I wanted to take in all of it!

    Backwards section, drop track, what more could you want! Lots of moving parts, signage and top notch details (my highlight is the smiley on the window).

     

    Probably my favorite area overall!

     

    Cars:

     

    Maybe my only macro criqitue for the park is in this area. I might be missing something, but I don’t really see the point of dividing this area into an outside and an inside portion.

    The theming with the red rock landscape is pretty much identical in both. The log flume probably gains some flare from the traveling outside before the last drop, but the tradeoff is that the coaster is very tucked away like this. Its completely in a corner far away and pretty much invisible unless youre already in the area (but why would you go there) or taking the log flume.

    The area around the coaster also feels a little bit dead – a few peep scenes more could’ve helped.

     

    The coaster itself is really nice though. Again agressively paced, especially that diagonal banked hill, but it makes sense for a lightning mcqueen coaster. The top hat frames the log flume drop beautifully imo and is my highlight of the coaster.

     

    The car theatre is another masterful display of forced perspective. Its quite hard to find, but once you do the reward is very cool – really nice attraction!

     

    Now for the inside portion, the car ride makes perfect sense. I love the small dueling aspect it got going on. Log flume integration is banger and is my favorite ride for the area.

    Tire Change is another cute 1-angle reward for rotating the map. Not spectacular but a good filler ride and im glad its there!

     

    Pixar Pier:

     

    A lovely section. Great color choices here, I think those red and blue roofs work wonderfully. The water gives some much needed variety and ties in with the following Nemo area nicely.

     

    Incredicoaster is a strong layout with a nice support structure. Big fan of the station building and queue entrance. Those flowy lights especially look awesome.

    In general I love that so many entrances are on the diagonal with nice large signs, so you don’t get lost viewing the park. Also a great sign in the looping!

    I did find it curious that this coaster is not in the incredibles area, or particularly close to it, but that’s not a negative for me.

     

    The wave swinger and midway spin out are both strong supporting attractions. Great framing on the launch tower also.

     

    Finding Nemo:

     

    Just pure wow.

    Actually THIS might be my favorite area. The outside alone is already so gorgeous, with the flowy path, those wall designs and the rockwork and waterfalls. This together with the coaster coming out of the wall through the tubes gives an amazing teaser for whats waiting inside!

     

    Then inside there are these wonderfully large aquariums that add very interesting scale and movement. I could see myself just getting lost staring at these! I also want to shout out the integration of the monorail here, which is awesome!

     

    The underwater foliage here is perfection to me. They provide so many fun touches of color and give amazing atmosphere!

     

    “Just keep swimming” is a fun kiddie ride, but more importantly, “the drop off” is probably my favorite flat in the entire park! Awesome design and super fun to watch. That shoestring really wowed me the first time I had a look at it, huge shoutout to Splitvision!

     

    "Sharkbait" also wonderful, lovely integration and framing for that volcano, which is an example of very fun and creative object use in the park! That’s where this area also shines a lot to me.

     

    Then the spinning coaster is awesome as well, but the part that I enjoyed the most is probably just where it dips outside the building. I do want to highlight the shark and turtle sculpture though! Love the canoes for feet with the turtle especially. In general the sculpture game in the park is incredible!

     

    Another cool DKSO object that I noticed is this silk flag that you used to give some movement to what I believe is kelp, or tall underwater grass! Great to see.

     

    Coco:

     

    Ok now THIS might be my favorite area xD! As with the Nemo section, I really adore all of the color in this area.

    The buildings look absolutely incredible, and together with the many hanging lights, other detail touches and the goddamn music, create such a great vibe.

     

    Despite that, the coaster still manages to stick out nicely and has wonderful interaction with the buildings and the splash boat!

    “Proud Corozon” also has the best pacing among the coasters, atleast for my taste and a wonderfully flowy layout too! Great work!

     

    The little roto drop has a fun position and gives the peeps waiting in queue underneath some nice views, but otherwise is not a huge standout for me. Certainly a great addition however!

     

    Again also top notch integration of the monorail. Those colored track pieces are a nice touch too!

     

    Man this area is just too good, I could go on and on and on about the details, the facades, the signs… all so perfect… but I wanted to keep this review short so ill spare you the glazing :p

     

    Ok maybe last thing: the little plaza in front of the main area with the concert is very cute and not bad at all, but doesn’t do a ton for me in the great scheme of things.

     

    Ratatouille:

     

    And for the last area there is Ratatouille. Technically a pretty small area, but with a huge main attraction dark ride! But first: dude those buildings look gorgeous. Amazing details on those facades and the ride coming out of the main building over the balconies is genius. That ride track by itself doesnt even look that out of place there either, even without the ride you could almost just keep it that way. Then the miniature skyline again is perfect and the little eifel tower is a ton of fun.

     

    The windmill is a great eye catcher, although me personally I probably would’ve out a ride inside. Just a small motion sim or cinema or a peepable restaurant. I appreciate the peep scene next to it although I didn’t get it haha!

     

    As a main attraction, the dark ride here is just beautiful. Another very diverse dark ride, with lots of little scenes. I like the movement with the waterfalls and all the kitchen stuff!

    Also the vehicles for the cheese and moreso the steak being a ride in bumper car mode to get that rotation – so clever!!

     

    The scale is also very cool here, making you experience the story from the point of view of the rat (forgot the name!) where everything is huge compared to the peeps. That must be so awesome and trippy to experience! Absolutely wonderful and certainly another highlight in the park for me!

     

    ----------------------------------------------

    And that concludes my small review of the park! God that took a while and even still im bound to have missed a bunch of stuff and details! Just goes to show how incredible this park really is!

     

    Sorry for the overly long and probably boring review, but I strongly believe in matching effort and thus think you deserve a lot of effort for this review too!

     

    Im still absolutely baffled by this park man, easily my favorite cso park of all time, if not straight up my favorite period. Cant believe you had a noob like me on this haha, thank you again for having me, it really means a lot!

    This park is an incredible achievement. Every time I thought I had explored each area, there was another impressive spot to explore. The way you so tastefully integrated so many disparate themes together in one park is really an achievement to behold, especially given that many of the attractions are indoors. My favorite coaster was the Incredicoaster on Pixar Pier - I just love the way that coaster looks both in real life and in this park. Since Wall-E is my favorite Pixar film, I would have loved to see more representation from that film, but I cannot complain too much about that. I am also happy you included an Up area, as that film was, I'm sure, very difficult to illustrate and keep cohesive. You did a great job of that, however. I also like how you took Ratatouille, and, by extension, Paris, as an opportunity to have a "main street" as guests enter the park. Very clever and makes a lot of sense in this context. The best idea in the park, in my opinion, is the swinging door coaster from Monsters, Inc. That part of that film is so iconic and makes so much sense for a theme park, so kudos for pulling that off. The little A113 Easter eggs all over the park were fun, too. I also think you had a nice balance between using new objects and existing objects to convey the sometimes hyper specific themes of each film.
