Description
Europa-Park in Rust, Germany, is one of Europe's largest amusement parks, attracting over 6 million visitors a year. The park offers something for young and old alike, from thrilling roller coasters to gentle children's rides and fascinating shows. In addition to its many attractions, the park features a variety of themed areas, each based on a different European country.
Discover Europa-Park for yourself in this recreation. Due to the limitations of the game, some areas do not correspond exactly to the real park. Some places are a little stretched out, while others are a little compressed.
Have fun! -

what the frick
This thing is gigantic.
Very curious to see the vote spread on this one. Looking back at iconic surprise parks like Liseberg and Grona Lund that won spotlights, this doesn't feel far off from those to me. Massive scale, great ride design and layouts, and a real eye for detail and aesthetics.
Can a "no name" player drop a huge surprise park in 2026 and adequately impress the panel? Tune in next week to find out.
Great work, and welcome
what the frick x2
So glad you were able to finish this and post it over here! We were all going crazy in the NE Discord over your Reddit posts. (Join us btw, there's a link at the bottom right!) It's very impressive to take on a map of this size and the quality is very consistent throughout. This kind of performance out of the gate reminds me a lot of how Babar Tapie started years ago and now he's one of the greats. Please keep building, this is already Gold level and I only see big things in your future!
Huge release! Immense map size, a full 256 done with great attention to detail throughout. Really great buildings, shows a diverse ability with objects and architecture. Can't comment on the recreation accuracy but I assume it's quite faithful. Compositionally there are a few things holding it back, but overall it's such a fantastically full park that it's easy to enjoy.
Was not expecting the spotlight potential when I saw your reddit post a month ago, but now I'd expect it will be a close vote. Congrats on finishing a quality park of this size!
Impressive. It gives me the same feeling when I opened Disneyland parks on RCT2 when I was younger. It's very consistent and cohesive. With lots of great details (the sunken ship on Atlantica for example). The park is extremely dense, I'll need some time to explore it haha. But I'm happy to finally have a detailed view of Europa Park and be able to see what some of the legendary rides that people talk here look like.
I hope this park gets a spotlight for having successfully pushed through such a large-scale project, it's so rare here today.
Congrats !!!
Welcome! I really enjoyed the screens you posted on Reddit. Glad to see you over here, and to see the park completed! Right off the bat, the overall quality level is very high, and the map is huge. This is impressive as hell.
Some thoughts below in no particular order. There will be some light criticisms, but I mean it constructively. This park is excellent and I love your work so far. I could very easily see your next project hit another gear.
-I love the attention to detail in the backstage areas and surrounding town. It feels like the right amount of context to give the park a sense of setting.
-Nice peep scenes in the neighborhood.
-This park pulls off the standard palette really well, which is rare.
-I'm not a fan of the olive green building tops. The color pops too much imo, which draws too much attention.
-Architecture is very good and consistent quality-wise. The entrance area is a standout.
-The coaster layouts and supports are very good. Voltron and the water coaster are standouts.
-You mentioned the challenges with recreations - how some areas are compressed and others are stretched out. I think one thing to consider in the future is taking a little more artistic license with the recreation. A good example of what I mean is the entrance area. It would be nice to have a little more space between the rows of buildings, as it looks a little cramped from the overhead viewer perspective. This could be done by reducing the width of the backstage warehouses (with the green roofs) by 1 tile and then moving those restaurants back. There are some other spots where tweaks like this could elevate the park to another level
Really fun park overall! I'm excited to keep exploring it over the coming days. It's so impressive to finish a park of this scale. You should be really proud of your work. Looking forward to seeing what you do next!
Good job on recreating the rides and areas. There are a lot of recognisable details from the original park, as far as I remember from my last visit. Kudos for finishing such a large project.
This is probably one of my favorite parks of all time. Not only because of the incredible recreation, but also because of the fun and unique vibe throughout the entire park. The fact that this came out of nowhere from a new member creates such a playful atmosphere that it’s easy to forget that not every choice made here is perfect by playbook meta standards.
I also want to point out the impressive way you designed the surroundings of the park - they really complement a fantastic and outstanding first release. A clear spotlight contender for me!
This is the kind of park that will have me coming back to explore new details for years. I really hope you’re hooked now and that this isn’t the last thing we’ll see from you here. Welcome and please stay!
This build really took me back to the times I'd lurk on NEDesigns, seeing what kind of awesome builds were getting uploaded. Its like a time capsule between the recreation with layouts attempting to best match the real deal while also having all sorts of interesting architecture. Some of it is definitely repetitive in terms of how roofs are built (the large diagonal brown one for instance), but in a way that's what makes this build endearing. It reminds me of a time before there was such a fixation on challenging the game "meta" defined by builders pushing themselves and their work to the absolute best it can be. This park, to me, shows you really can make something interesting and great by building in a way you find fun. Even things like the theatre dome, which is rough by today's standards, throws me back to 2012, and if you had used more modern building techniques surrounding it, it definitely wouldn't work for me. You kept your style here and carried it across the park with wonderful sightlines and tons of great detail.
Thanks for uploading to NE, and hope to see you build more in the future!
Big ups for showing up with such a massive entry out of the blue, this is such a crazy undertaking. It really shows through that you had fun working on this for an extended period of time, completely on your own terms.
What a fantastic park/creation. I agree with RWE that this will be one of those parks I will come back to often for inspiration.
Im really impressed how you made 17000 peeps not look cluttered and well balanced throughout the park. So good. Again, congrats on such a great first park submission with NE
