That start and pre-lift section must be painfully slow. You could add a set of gently-sloped pieces on either end of the bottom of the first drop there to help clear out some of the straight- and flat-ness. I like the turnaround area well enough, but the trek back seems very random. Make it do something. If there will be terrain and foliage, maybe start on that so you get a more concrete idea of what you want it to interact with. I also question whether the station and space between brake sections needs to be that large for those trains. Use as little space as possible in these areas because the train will be travelling incredibly slowly and it will be boring.

This is my attempt at the layout, done over a year ago now...

It's from the other angle, but that's the best I could do. Tree line is where the lake would be.

I think what you have is pretty good, but for it to be any good you'll need to get the surroundings spot-on. The layout itself isn't special, but the forest and station make it special.

Well, where the straight is is where they have the coaster's train housing with one side track [as CSW shows below] So I could shorten it up as to make it not so long and solve the long brake as well.

As for the Trek back, it's set in the middle of the woods, so other than some nice foliage, I won't be able to do much.

To CSW: not a bad layout there, the only thing I'd change would be the height of the lake turn seems to be a bit too high? Other than that I'd say that would help me out some! Thank you so far all.

Here's another take that might give you some ideas. Don't forget to add some terrain!

Here's my take - Don't waste space with unnecessary straight track pieces - and also for that first turn, you may want to lower 1, turn, and lower 1 again - it might get you somewhere even nicer...
