IMO, I think having the ride closed would have been better. Then if a person doesn't like it, they don't open it. And having it "closed for the winter" makes sense.

Haha, yeah. We contemplated it about two days before the deadline and said "Eh. fuck it." No harm no foul though.

  • BlazingEmpireHD%s's Photo

That would have made sense, honestly, but people would have complained.

Anyways, great work on this, all! Support work, especially. I look forward to seeing more of each patron here....

I should post a version without the palette. Still good, but the ice blue ruins the atmosphere. I’m very glad we changed it.

In my opinion this may be the dumbest controversy ever on NE. Some people take tgis realism thing a bit too far.

Either way I love the coaster. It looks sick and is brilliantly integrated in the surroundings.

Also I nice touch that catches my attention now: the use of the 1k steel roof texture on the steep slope.

I have this weird hate for this one particular coaster, can't put my finger on it why though.... :p

In all seriousness, this was an amazing park with some awesome details and great content.

Yes! That is as Creative as it gets. And please noone say: Ahh, that are Steel roof, how unreal let it be creative by its looks and not by its object descripton.
That really is a classic already in my eyes.

For those who are non-skiers/boarders, those roof pieces represent groomed piste, or in skier lingo: corduroy. The racers are always going to follow the same route down through the gates, so everywhere else the corduroy would be untouched.

Make sure to include ice around the race turns. It's what happens every race.

  • saxman1089%s's Photo

I will be sure to include things in a park that came out months ago.

  • nicman%s's Photo

    @saxman1089, I obv didn't know that.

Blue shirt skier in the middle of the screen isn't following the code and stopped beneath a headwall where they can't be seen from above! How realistic.

I still love being included as a ski patroller; great touches in this park.

I'm not the biggest realism connoisseur, but I thought that RMC was incredible. The way it stands out and keeps itself hidden in the scenery at the same time is remarkable to me. The cherry on top of a fantastic park.

I don't care about the realism, this looks dope.
