Description
Hi guys! I took a small break from playing the game, but during that break, I watched a bunch of guides and OpenRCT2 content in general (shoutout to Deurklink). Anyway, after the park I posted (China-themed one), I made one more park, and then this is the most recent one I have made. I decided that it would be smarter for me to start with smaller parks (this one being 25x25) to better my foundation. Again, I'm entirely open to critiques and improvements I can make! I really want to start entering competitions, so I'm looking forward to what you guys think. When I finished building this park, I realized that the buildings I made were very spread out, and my world doesn't feel lived in, so I'll improve on that in my next park. But, again, thanks in advance!

I think this is really cute. I really easy thing I'd recommend is adding the terrains that are mixed so the ground doesn't look so checkered. They are great for blending a variety of terrain types. It would be really impactful here.
Nice stuff, ride design is looking good. Buildings are just a bit too blocky for me, have you thought about using custom scenery to help work with the quarter tile objects and making the waterfall feel more natural?
You've made a great start here. I like the zig zagging crazy paving going over the ride.
I think it looks good. a touch of color in the foliage wouldn't be missed. Are the rapids side walls meant to be concrete barriers? I think it could be cleaned up by building the wall underwater as well, and easing transitions to the landscape with clever use of quarter tile foliage and rock/ruin pieces. i'm also not really a fan of burying the rapids underwater (especially near the waterfall). finally, I'd say to be careful with the sand textures. probably choose one or the other, instead of checkerboarding it. you can use both only if you're very careful about their respective 'roles'.
If you're serious about wanting constructive feedback, I'd say first we probably need to see a bigger scene with a bit more going on. it's easier to make a nice scene in a neat 25x25 square than it is to make a whole area, with detailed buildings, path flow, terrain, and ride layout/s. so if you want to work on those skills, the best thing you could do is just jump right in and start building. and then we can give pointers!
Nice! Definitely an improvement on your last pic so you're on the right track. There's already some good tips above - one other piece of advice I'd give is to find some reference material for your buildings so you can get a more interesting shape. And then see what pieces in the game are best to bring that shape/style to life. Once you've done that a few times you'll find it easier to translate your original ideas into reality. Keep it up!
