And the street from the other side. And you can see the car attraction Le Tour des Jardins, new for 1971.

I love it! Very different compared to what you usually do. Refreshing. The only part that doesn't really work is the carousel cover, in my opinion. The square canvas look on top of very thin wooden beams, with again a square footprint... I'd try to get a design that makes it look more rounded.

Really love the effect the new bench has on your style

Paul just sitting there quietly, schooling us all. Fantastic screen and indeed more modern and refined than what we're used to. Brilliant!

Welcome to Europa Park's first large-scale themed area. Step into France, but you're actually in the Netherlands. New in 1970.

The grande rue (main street) is packed with shops and restaurants. This was quite progressive for its time. It wasn't common for visitors to visit the park without bringing their own food. Europa Park wants to change this and see spending per visitor increase. Eventually, the picnic areas will also disappear from the park.

The France area has several attractions: Carousel, Carrousel à balançoires, and the Domestique Theatre.
