I always like to see a mash-up of existing theme parks. Great job on this ride! Really good path spaces, and I like how you integrated the train ride. Do the red circles in the path represent clown noses?

I'm a big fan of that façade and all the chess pieces. The in-ground queue line is also really nice.

Nice!!!! I think more can be done with the roof (belle isle is a good inspo point for that) but I’m sure it comes together in time. Great to have you back Paul!

Love seeing this style with a more modern bench. Great facade, shades of It's A Small World

So good to see you active. You've never lost your touch for macro.

I also love about your work what a great maximiser you are. Most of what's here would be considered "simple", but it has such effectiveness that it really elevates itself.

  • Description

It's currently Carnival time in the Netherlands. I thought it would be fitting to show you the new 1984 attraction Carnaval Festival. The attraction is located in the European theme area and is the park's first major dark ride. The Mack Rides Omnimover system was chosen. Inside, you sit in a carriage that transports visitors through the building, where music, colorful decor, and approximately 280 puppets depict cheerful festive scenes from different cultures around Europa. This attraction takes you on a colorful and cheerful journey through the clichés and prejudices surrounding various European cultures.

The area also houses a large restaurant and a small souvenir stall. For the first time, it's also possible to purchase an action photo of your visit to the attraction. This is groundbreaking technology for 1984. The waiting area also has a covered parking area for strollers.
