H2H3 / H2H3- Week 3 Review

Tis time again for a h2h3 week review. Sorry that this one is a bit late but you know, shit happens.

Week 3 of the third h2h season saw many teams that made strong appearance in week two falling back a bit off their assault. To sum it all up week two was filled with controversy and all sorts of excitement, you could tune in a couple times every day for at least four days in there and somebody had come up with a new solution and new rules were made. Week three was straight forward, boring even, in comparison. Anyway on to the match ups:

    +Week Three, Match up “One”:
Hurricanes Vs Seal Clubbers- A face off between a neo-classical rct2 park that wishes it was in LL and a poorly executed experiment, two park types we’ve already seen plenty of this time ‘round however they were never placed together. Paradise Island while being rather beautiful and loaded full of interesting and seamless hacks looked like a the stock LL h2h park of last season. The Cave was a brilliant idea that was hindered by a general lack of anything. The parks sole attraction was an interesting, however messy, launched coaster and all the shops were left out in the open for the probing eyes of the voters to look on. It looked like a scenario through and through. As a result the Hurricanes captured nearly 60% of the vote, proving yet again that having a cool idea just isn’t enough.

    +Week Three, Match “Two:
Vehemences Vs Flying Germans- Here we had two interesting idea’s, a h2h3 first. One the other hand one was pulled off to a level that made it successful while the other looked half-finished. Rainbow Valley was, on part of the Vehemences and Junya Boy, a major redeemer. Frankly this team has taken a huge amount of undeserved abuse. In week 1 they got pummeled by a mostly-finished park from the last h2h3 draft and from the Hurricanes highest ranked player. In week 2 they lost to the Seal Clubbers due to a technicality. About damn time their luck turned around. Frankly I don’t like either parks that much. Area 51 has an interesting coaster in the odd sense with some decent architecture and Rainbow Valley was a completed, colorful 2X2 maze of architecture. Not bad however neither was completely original. Congrats to the Vehemences for finally getting a win though, even if it was against my team.

    Standings:
    =North Division:
    IIIcons: 0-2
    Seal Clubbers: 2-1
    Flying Germans: 1-2
    =South Division:
    Hurricanes: 2-0-1
    MoLLsters: 1-0-1
    Vehemences: 1-2

Well that’s all folks. Look for my week 4 review in a couple days!
