General Chat / What is your color?

So, somebody came up with something called "Colorstrology", which is like Astrology, only with colors. You can find your color by going to the Colorstrology website. They have colors for months, and variations based upon the day you were born within the month. Once you know your color, post it, and comment on it.

The color for August is (ever so originally) Sun Orange, and the color for the 18th of August is Rust.

I have nothing to say about that, really, except that I hate both colors with all my heart, and soul. Couldn't I get something a bit more beautiful than Rust, and a bit less overstimulating than Orange? A nice Blue, perhaps? Nope, of course not.

Uh... yeah.

The color of April is Cayenne. Which is apparently fiery, energetic, and courageous. Not me.
The color for the 11th is Sangria. A kind of purplish, reddish, thing. It says I am intuitive and insightful and tend to be financially blessed (I'm broke. ). And I'm apparently a great storyteller.

Just about none of this stuff is true..

"brandied apricot"? What the fuck is that? bullshit that's not a real color, it just looks like "pink" to me. It says I'm "musical," "spunky," and "appealing." uhhh. I've never made music before so I don't know if that's accurate, maybe I should try that. If spunky means hyperactive, then...not so, I'd rather sleep. Appealing...HAH.

in short this is bullshit. I am sad that I wasted my time with this.

Yes, well that's what I thought, just wanted to make sure... but, still, I'd love to hear people's results, and, especially, if it actually mananges to get one right...

Day: Smoke Green (Kinda a gray/green. Probably one of the least vibrant colors ever)

I can deal with those, since my favorite color in RCT has been the lovely bluish/greyish green. Possibly also called dark green. In fact, the shirt I'm wearing right now is that color. Yay.

It says I'm intelligent, intense, emotional, and have some money. I'm not that emotional though.

Got on the site, and I am 'Coral Blush' - a dull pink. Wasn't far off.

So I was right - I am a Pink for my month, and a Red for my birthday.

I got it man... Pagoda Blue for the month and Caribbean Sea for the day. Not a lot of contrast but I love both colors.

Seriously, a lot of that stuff was, for me, very accurate, and aqua is my favourite colour by a long, long way.

As worthless as the content is, it is a very creative and nicely designed flash layout. I give them props on that.

Which, of course, is why I found out about it on a design website. Still, it beats "normal" astrology, as pure color is far more beautiful, versitile, and simple.
