General Chat / Cell Phones

Hey there! It's been a while since I have posted but I really need some opinions. Okay basically I have a Cingular plan (I do have a sim-card, opperating on GSM) and I am currently using a Nokia 3595. It is a great phone, however it is starting to get boring for me. Especially since my best friend recently purchased the Motorola v3 RAZR. So now, not only is my phone lacking features that I want, but all of my friends have those features as well.

I have been looking at the LG L1400. However, upon reading recent user reviews, it doesn't seem like that good of a phone. People said things such as: "The battery only lasts about two days if lucky," and "Cingular branded it at least five time including the outer screen where it will only scroll the Cingular logo bac and forth." So, reading these have turned me away.

The Samsung EGH-317 was always an option as well. Until the recently pulled it from my area.

So, here are features I am looking for (listed in how bad I want it):
1. Camera: it doesn't have to be a megapixel camera or shoot videos to make me happy.
2. Flip-phone: not really important, I just like the sizes of these.
3. (if flip-phone) Color external screen: pretty important but not really, just depends.

I am working on about a two-hundred dollar budget so...Okay guys, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I reccomend Nextel. But since you want a camera phone, all nextel has is the i860. It doesn't take very good pictures.
