I voted flying germans. Seal clubbers was too packed for me, looked like they tried too hard, didn't think the path fitted either and the landscaping/foliage could have been better. Flying Germans was a little cliche, but there were nice ideas here and there that won them my vote.

both are fucking amazing!!! great job to both of them!
    but i vote NULL
this round is a draw for me!
    congratz to both

wow. honestly i must say, not because i'm their captain, but i liked the flying germans park better. i'm quite proud we could come up with something like that. really. awesome job to whoever did it.

the clubbers park had some moments as well, but overall didn't seem as artistic and detailed. also it had a bit of a careless touch to it. it wasn't as refined as ours, in my opinion. i hope this is going to be a tough race.

2 Excellent parks here. I enjoyed them both thoroughly.

I voted for Seal Clubbers in the end.

Flying Germans: The park was very nice, the architecture, landscaping, foliage and everyone was well excecuted. How, to me, the rides seemed hard to follow and see what they were doing. Sounds weird, but I just couldn't enjoy the rides that much as they were half hidden underground and it was just hard to keep track of

Seal Clubbers: I loved this. The architecture was amazing and the colour schemes work magnificently! The Osmosis pipeling things were awesome. Loved them. Those river rapids were excellent. My favourite part of the the park was the building in the corner by the water coaster with the waterfalls going down it. That was sensational! The Steel Twist was also good, though I wasn't so keen on the areas of black in and around the coaster. Seemed like you didn't know what to do with those bits so just stuck a few black tiles in.

Anyway, great parks to the both of you, Seal Clubbers just edged it for me.

I am actually quite suprised by them both. They both looked absolutely amazing in the overview but when I opened them in-game they didn't have the same effect.

"Eternal Springs City" was great. I really like the "inside" of building feature and some of the architecture. But some of the architecture was actually quite bad, the bright blue building made me cringe on first site. The coaster was good, but I couldn't keep track of it which put me off a little.

"Artesian Water Works" was better IMO. It was much more fun to look at and it was more exciting. There is much more movement in the park which keeps you busy. I loved the addition of the Heartline Twist coaster, and the Watercoaster was fabulous, but I wasn't too sure on the red pipe....
The rapids were great too, Loved the waterfalls around it. In some places in the park I felt that they just added the "black tiles" because they could'nt think of something to put there.

Anyway, my vote is for the Water Works. It was better.

Eternal Springs City - One hell of a park, very strong archy and themeing with good rides too. I loved the kinda jungle like theme in the corner, awsome themeing their. The hacked coaster was damn good, I liked the 2 way vert fallbacks a lot, however one thing I did not like on the rides was the entracens they seemed un-eventful, and imo they should stand out or at leased be EZ to find. Also I was really disapointed by the 2 stupid little parking levels, all that did was prove you were drewing from CoD and kinda dis-cridit your theme, I mean you used pick-up trucks in a ancent future kinda theme? I guess it is kinda funny and I am a fan of funny/spoof parks but imo this was not the time or place to do something silly like that. Sorry for the rant, just the parking lot alone put me off a bit, however it does not "ruin" the park for me. Overall the park was really great, congrats on such an outstanding park, surely one of the best all season.

    8/10

Artesian Water Works - Wow, based on the overview I did not think id pick this park, but in-game it is truely something, each wateride was amazing, the buildings are out of this world and it has so much going on. My fav part was the raceing hartline twisters, simple yet really cool! The one thing I did not like was how "packed" the park was, it was non-stop in a way, really agressive in a sense it kinda did not give you a chance to step back and take a look, im not sure if thats good or bad, it does drag you in, but I think it could be more subtle without loseing much. This is my personal #1 for this season so far. Awsome park.

    9/10

Artesian Water Works gets my vote.

This mite go down as the greatest RCT2 vs RCT2 match up ever, again great job by both teams, its really a shame one will lose.

oh and needless to say, but thx a bunch for that tip Deano, I am now able to view them ;)

    I voted Seal Clubbers, obviously.

Artesian Water Works, I didn't think i'd like. How mistaken I was... There's just so much to look at. Every single square is jam-packed with great little touches, that just makes this park exceptional for me. The coaster is amazing, beautiful colours on that by the way. Every single building looked like it had a purpose, and looked as if great care was taken crafting it. The sheer amount of rides put into this park without making it seem crowded (ride-wise) is amazing, every ride has it's own place and fits beautifully. And somehow, it manages to incorporate purple flowers into this theme, which look amazing. I thought both water rides were excellently done, also.

I'll comment on the German's park when I get back from training. Looks great, though.

Both parks were very nice but I ended up voting for the Clubbers. The Germans put up a valiant effort though, a great park for sure, but I just feel that the Clubbers park had so much more to offer. From the awesome Beemer to the dual-rapids to the heartline racers (wasnt a fan of the liquid coaster though), there was just tons of stuff to see. Great job to you guys on an original theme. The Germans park wasnt quite as original nor quite as fun, but it was still a great park in itself. A very good match up for sure.

I voted for the Germans, not only because it is my team, but also because I feel it was the better park of the two. The Clubbers entry was amazing though, and in any other round, would have easily won, but I feel the Germans park had incredible architecture and landscaping. I think that the hacked coaster in the Germans park, was one of the best I've seen and that the creator of the park, has produced his best work so far. It is IMO, the best park of the entire contest so far.

The ideas in the Clubbers park, were brilliant and were executed perfectly. But, there was too much going on for my liking. The water coaster also, really held me back on regarding this with much higher acclaim. The parkmaker that built this, is so obvious too.

So, yeah, my vote went for the Germans. Great park, and I will be in awe of it for many months now.

This is almost making me want to install RCT2...

    Hmm...

Are these poor representations of a wonderful style? Are these examples of something wonderful taken too far? Or, have I just grown boring in my "old" age? "Glasshouse Gardens", "Cydonia City", etc. Those parks made me feel ALIVE! These parks make me feel like I'm being strangled to DEATH!

I would vote "null", but this is far too important of a game to do that. I'll be voting Seal Clubbers because their park was better, even if only slightly. Nice job on the floorless, it was the only time I really enjoyed myself in either of these parks.

    Oh, well...

Edit: What? The Seal Clubbers are loosing? My goodness... are you people totally fucked in the head? Blind perhaps? Well, what's new, right? Idiots...

    ^ :(

It pains me to see so many people voting for the Germans and not saying why... At least let us know your point of view. With the exception of deanosrs (and the people on that team), everyone who's replied has gone Clubbers.

    Let us know why!
  • trav%s's Photo
I voted Germans. I loved both parks but I thought the archy was a little more to my taste in the Germans park.

    ...
Whenever all the posts are geared one way and the poll is geared another, it makes me think that there is wrongdoing in the works...However I thought we put a good cap on that in this round (not saying how).
  • Steve%s's Photo
Don't bother Micool, all you're missing out on is a good floorless and pretty architecture.

I voted for the Flying Germans, because it was simply more beautiful.
  • tracidEdge%s's Photo

Or, have I just grown boring in my "old" age? "Glasshouse Gardens"

I remember that park kicked ass. I wish I still had it.

But, I haven't looked at the parks yet. I'll go do that, and edit this later.
  • Turtle%s's Photo
OK, i've just looked at the Germans park, and I must say, I am a bit disappointed. The overall feeling I get is that of rushedness. Most of the architecture was very repetitive, and didn't really look as if any real thought has gone into them. There's paper-thin walls, clashing colours, and misalligned pieces all over the place. The pick up trucks seem a bit redundant, why? The other annoying thing is the unnamed or misspelt rides... Canoes 1, Chairlift 1, Wooden Roller Coaster 1.... Jouney to the Eternal Springs. For such an important match up, it doesn't seem as if that much thought has gone into it.

This has the potential to be amazing, and there are small areas dotted around that are absolutely top class, but there's so much that just doesn't add up to a great park.
